Overall-- yes. Easier but limited in some places. But the base I used on this DM car was the same one that was made for the Original Cup and with just a small amount of tweaking I got it to fit. It's much easier than some of the more recent templates. One major gripe I had was with the wire frame layer as it's almost invisible on the top door portion (passenger side). Plus this one is still 1024 for some reason?!
