Re: Dream racing series schedules
F1
1. Australian GP @ Melbourne - The classic season opener
2. Malaysian GP @ Sepang - One of the best Tilkedromes
3. Chinese GP @ Shanghai - Better than most give it credit for
4. Spanish GP @ Jerez - The only track in Spain that doesn't completely suck
5. Monaco GP @ Monte Carlo - Because it has to be in the F1 calendar. That's like a universal law now.
6. Austrian GP @ Red Bull Ring - Because OMG THIS TRACK IS AMAZING
7. Canadian GP @ Montreal - SO IS THIS ONE
8. American GP @ New Jersey - I firmly believe the New Jersey track is gonna be awesome.
9. British GP @ Silverstone - I'd prefer Donington, but that didn't really pan out...
10. French GP @ Paul Ricard - Because maybe if an F1 race is held here, people will see how amazing the run-off is, and that there is a way to have tarmac runoff that isn't just crap.
11. German GP @ Nurburgring - It's better than Hockenheim. It just is.
12. Hungarian GP @ Hungaroring - It's actually not been too bad the last couple of years
13. Czech GP @ Brno - Because it's a pretty awesome track, and I think we could use another GP in Eastern Europe
14. Belgian GP @ Spa - It's freaking Spa
15. Italian GP @ Monza - Not my favourite of tracks, but it beats the everloving crap out of Imola...
16. Singaporean GP @ Marina Bay - A nice old school street circuit.
17. Japanese GP @ Suzuka - One of the world's greatest circuits.
18. United States GP @ COTA - Pretty damn good.
19. Mexican GP @ Mexico City - Well, I figure there should be a Mexican GP, and I don't know of any better candidates, so...
20. Brazilian GP @ Interlagos - The best way to finish the season.
IndyCar - I have less of an idea what I'm doing here, so feel free to tell me I'm being crazy with this, because I probably am.

Re: Dream racing series schedules
NASCAR Cup
Most races would be shortened to the average length of an Indycar or Formula 1 race; long enough to make strategy important without dragging on.
Sprint Unlimited: Daytona Backstretch
-This race becomes the headline event of the Battle at the Beach, with additional entries prepared for the winners of the regional tour races.
Race 1: Daytona 500
-I'm not dumb enough to risk being lynched for altering the 500.
Race 2: Barber Motorsports Park
-Not as tall of an order as driving all the way to Phoenix in a week.
Race 3: Phoenix
-Phoenix is moved to the third round by Barber.
Race 4: Irwindale
-Irwindale replaces Fontana.
Race 5: Bristol
-Bristol remains on the schedule.
Race 6: Martinsville
-See Bristol.
Race 7: Talladega
-Because we have to keep the rednecks happy and give them their stupid crashes.
Race 8: Autobahn Country Club
-Why go to that boring cookie-cutter in Joliet, Illinois when there's a perfectly good road course in the same city?
Race 9: Iowa
-This track has proven itself worthy of a Cup date.
All-Star: Charlotte Legends Oval
-Why not?
Race 10: Coca-Cola 600
-One of the few races whose length stays the same. The endurance factor becomes more significant.
Race 11: Sonoma
-Sonoma remains on the schedule
Race 12: Road America
-See Iowa.
Race 13: Circuit Gilles Villenueve
-A race in Canada is needed BADLY.
Race 14: Daytona Infield
Race 15: Coke Zero 400
-The Daytona July round features two races in the same weekend. Qualifying takes place on the road course, and the lineup for the oval race is determined by inverting the finishing order from the road race.
Race 16: Loudon
-Loudon remains on the schedule
Race 17: Watkins Glen
-Watkins Glen remains on the schedule
Race 18: Darlington
-Darlington returns to Labor Day weekend.
Race 19: Rockingham
-Let's pay a visit to Rockingham while we're in the Carolinas.
Race 20: Milwaukee
-One more trip to Wisconsin during the final trek out West.
Race 21: Caesars Palace
-If we're keeping the banquet at Las Vegas, it only makes sense to hold the final race here too.

Race 20: Milwaukee
-One more trip to Wisconsin during the final trek out West.
Race 21: Caesars Palace
-If we're keeping the banquet at Las Vegas, it only makes sense to hold the final race here too.

Re: Dream racing series schedules
For my 20-race F1 schedule, there won't be the month-long break in August like there is on the actual schedule, which mean the season would end by late October/early November:
1. Australian GP (I would've added Adelaide instead of Melbourne but since it doesn't fail to produce excitement, Melbourne stays on the schedule)
2. Malaysian GP (Also produces excitement, especially when the weather's always playing a factor)
3. European GP (Imola/Nurburgring/Hockenheim)
4. French GP (@ Paul Ricard)
5. Spanish GP (@ Jerez)
6. Monaco GP (on Memorial Day weekend, of course)
7. Canadian GP (Do I need to say more)
8. American GP (the NJ street circuit/Watkins Glen course because of my bias towards growing up around that area)
9. British GP (@ Silverstone)
10. German GP (Nurburgring/Hockenheim)
11. Austrian GP (A1/RedBull Ring)
12. Turkish GP (I actually liked the circuit since it had some nice elevation changes. Too bad they stopped going there)
13. Hungarian GP (The usual)
14. Belgain GP (Got to love Spa)
15. Italian GP (And Monza as well)
16. Singapore GP (Got to at least have one night race on the schedule)
17. Japanese GP (@ Suzuka)
18. U.S. GP (@ Austin. I was surprised by how much good racing the track produced last year)
19. Mexican GP (@ Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez)
20. Brazilian GP (What better way to end the season than at Interlagos? I would prefer the old circuit over the new one, IMO)
I'll have a schedule for IndyCar and NASCAR once I put more thought into it.
