Which major race tracks would you love to race on
What are some race tracks, that look really fun to drive.
Here are my picks:
Fontana- Even with how crap the races are to watch, the restarts are insane. And with how wide the track is, I feel it would be really fun to drive.
Indianapolis (In an Indycar)- Face it, the track is crap for NASCAR. But throw an Indycar on it, and you have a track that is challenging and looks fun.
Michigan (Back when CART Ran there)- If anyone hasn't seen a CART race at Michigan from the mid-90's to early 2000's, you have never seen an action packed race. The Hanford device made insane amounts of passing, and somthing I would love to try if I were a racer.
Spa-Francorchamps- Eau Rouge
What tracks would you like to run?

Indianapolis - It's Indianapolis
Spa - The most amazing racetrack in the world
Nürburgring - Challenging and legendary
Iowa Speedway - Best racing I've seen on an oval.
Cleveland - I would love to be in a race so close to home
Laguna Seca - The corkscrew is fantastic

Re: Which major race tracks would you love to race on
Silverstone-been round the old layout but not in anger.
Spa-walked eau rouge and then gave up
Mallory Park-Been round a few times on a bicycle and in a original mini at speed for the mini festival in 2000, for anyone wishing to drive it at speed be warned, it is very, very unforgiving.
Donington
Indianopolis
Nurburgring
Bathurst
Daytona
Oulton Park
Castle Combe-Walked this one too. Also very unforgiving (especially at Quarry corner)
Le mans
Monaco
Brands Hatch
Monza (and the old oval)
Goodwood
Montreal
Zolder
Rockingham (UK)-(a friend of mine met Dan Wheldon here, a week after he told us about his encounter he was killed at Vegas.)
Laguna Seca
Road Atlanta
Shelsley Walsh
Some of Dalby forest stages
The Island of Man rally stages and TT course
Cadwell Park
circuits that no longer exist like Rouen and Schottenring

Indianapolis Motor Speedway (in an Indycar): A place I've wanted to take a lap around as long as I can remember.
Michigan: As previously mentioned, Indycar races at Michigan were awesome. I'd love to run around that place a few times in one.
Daytona: Driving a NASCAR at high speeds around this track would be insanely awesome.

Oxford Plains Speedway - Close to home, AWESOME racing.
Oxford Plains Dragway - I CAN HEAR IT FROM THE FRICKING OPS BLEACHERS!
DAYTONA(BatB) - I would love to drive, I'm close to 16 so maybe I will sign up for the Whelen Modifieds.
Suzuka - JAPAN-MON!
Twin Ridge Motegi - I Japan

Re: Which major race tracks would you love to race on
Rockingham (UK) - It would be so mind-blowing to drive round a track like that.
Daytona and Talladega - Yeah, obvious reasons.
Bristol - I could enjoy driving round it no matter what line I use, either outside or inside line.
Silverstone - I've cycled round that track twice before, so maybe driving round it would be a whole new experience for me.
Monaco - Street Circuits are narrow but so much fun to drive on, but I would need to keep it off the wall at all times to enjoy it.
Las Vegas - Had a bus tour around the track in 2008, got a good look at the mark Jeff Gordon made to that inside wall as well. It's one of my favourites, as what is in Vegas, Stays in Vegas!

Montreal and the Red Bull Ring. Both are my favourite tracks to lap in games.

you put Indy twice. Either that or do you mean both the Oval and the Road Course Version?

Count again. I put it in four times, because I'd love to race there. I just did it as a joke really

Re: Which major race tracks would you love to race on
Have always dreamed of doing Monza, Monaco and Spa.
Monza because it's Italy's most important circuit, and also due to it's history of Formula One.
Monaco 100% due to the history at the track
Spa (in the 80s) as it's probably every drivers dream to do it. Especially the 80s Eau Rouge, that was fucking mental.

Re: Which major race tracks would you love to race on
Indianapolis, mostly in an early 1990's Champ Car...
Monaco would be incredible with any car.
Road America, again in a Champ Car.
Spa. Eau Rouge.
Darlington (since its one of my favorites on the NASCAR schedule and one of my best tracks racing at GOMA.)

Monaco (especially in an F1 car, preferrably a car that Ayrton Senna drove back in the day)
Bristol
Rockingham (U.S.)
Eldora
Indianapolis (in an IndyCar of course)
Interlagos (the old configuration back from the '70s, early '80s)
I'll probably add more to the list if I can think of any other tracks.

Tracks I have attended races at that I'd like to drive on:
Michigan
Norway Speedway
Other Tracks:
Berlin Raceway
Daytona
Talladega
Rockingham
Nazareth
Lucas Oil Raceway Park
Most of these were also my favorite tracks in EA's NASCAR games.

You can drive on Rouen in a road car. Most of the actual track is still there although the garages and grandstands are long gone
a few more from me...
- Nürburgring (the full circuit)
- Spa Francorchamps
- Indianapolis (the history there is amazing. And my Dad raced there once.)
- Daytona
- Kyalami (old version was better, although they preserved the best part of the original track)

Easily Laguna Seca. That track is terrifying to run at full tilt in a simulator. I can only imagine how much more terrifying it must be in real life.

I'll add to my list the old Atlanta Motor Speedway configuration. It always had great racing.
