New name and Class Structure for the Grand-am/ALMS Merger
The United Sports Car Racing League Powered by IMSA will be the name of the Merged Series.
Classes
Prototype (Grand Am DP, ALMS P2, Delta Wing)
Prototype Challenge (ALMS LMPC)
GT Le Mans (ALMS GT)
GT Daytona (Grand Am, GT, ALMS GTC)
GX (Grand am GX)
Fixed Antman's spelling errors. - Cy

Jeez. The number of classes are a bit much. I don't know exactly how much power the DP cars have compared to the LMP2 and LMPC cars but I would have put the DP cars under the prototype challenge category, same thing goes with the Delta Wing. As for the GT classes, it's not too bad. I would prefer not having the GX class with the rest of them but that's just me. Next year should be really interesting though.

If I'm not mistaken, 2014 is when both Prototype classes go exclusively to Coupe. If so, then the DPs are going to undergoe some huge changes to keep up with LMP2. I'm pretty excited overall for this, all of the big American enduros finally under one roof makes for one solid series.
Also, Daytona Prototypes are heading to Le Mans in 2014.
