I love trolling stupid people's overly dramatic Facebook statuses. It's hilarious to watch their "serious" moment get completely derailed.

Well, it differs, but I remember one instance where this girl (she does these kinds of update every day mind you) posted this really cheesy status (obviously copy/pasted) about love and blah blah, and it mentioned the Mario Bros. So, I posted this insanely long tl;dr post with a detailed description of how I hated Toad with an undying passion and my frustrations with Bowser and so on and so forth; it was completely unrelated to the original post. Her reaction was just complete and utter bewilderment, it was great fun.

Found out some exciting news today. I have been selected to be the Grand Marshal for the Autism Speaks charity walk at Pocono Raceway next Sunday. Basically what I do is I give the command to start the walk, then lead the whole walk in a pace car.

Re: The Random Discussion Thread (RDT)
Basically last week I volunteered for an Autism Speaks walk at Citizens Bank Park, and found out that there was one next weekend at Pocono. My dad contacted the people running it to sign us up to volunteer, and then earlier today they called my dad back asking if I wanted to be Grand Marshal. I said yes, and now I can't wait.

Re: The Random Discussion Thread (RDT)
This has been on my mind the last couple of days. But, I was wondering if you guys knew how many cartoon shows (animated shows) have lasted at least 10 consecutive years? So far I've only come up with 4. Now the only requirement is that it has to have been on at least 10 straight years, it doesn't have to be currently airing.
My list so far:
1. The Simpsons
2. Pokemon
3. Rugrats
4. South Park (I believe, I need confirmation.)

I also don't count Fairly Odd Parents as 10 years as for 2 of them years they didn't make a single new episode. Many things on Nickelodean will be because Nickelodean is stubborn in which they are set on making there next show a star, even though it isn't.

Amanda Knox not guilty.
Discuss.
I think it's a great thing, because there was no evidence.

How's it sad? In both cases, the state/court authorities (don't know what they're called in Italy) couldn't prove that the person committed said crime beyond a reasonable doubt. You can't convict on emotion alone that's no how court systems are built.
Same can be said about OJ. Doesn't matter what we think, what does matter is the state could not convince 12 others beyond a reasonable doubt.

I think Casey Anthony's case is a bit different. Could they put a murder weapon in her hand and prove that she forcefully killed Caylee? Absolutely not... However, Caylee WAS Casey's responsibility, and she was lying dead in a trash bag out in a swamp while Casey was whoring around with her friends. I think that right there deserves at least something... If that's not neglect, then hell, I don't know what is.
Remember, there is a world of difference between "not guilty" and "innocent". Casey Anthony is not innocent in any sense of the word.

But, the state wasn't trying to prove neglect. They were trying to prove 1st-degree murder which is not an easy thing if you don't have solid evidence. That fact she was a liar and not a saint doesn't prove murder. And the burden of proof is a lot more strict for 1st-degree, death penalty, murder cases.
What I'm surprised hasn't happen (although it may have and because i stopped following this after the verdict) is that there was no civil case brought against Casey. And civil case has a more loose burden of proof. Again a bring up OJ. He was found not guilty in the criminal case but guilty in the civil case.
