I made a mistake with Ryan Matthews' car, and I accidentally recorded with his green scheme instead of the all black scheme. Sorry about that, Ryan. I only just noticed once I got everything finished :\
- Spoiler:
- Cassandra Collins and Carla Rosinski have heated argument over crash
You wouldn't really expect a 16 year old to go pick a fight with a 20 year old, but after the crash-filled Eurospeedway GP, that's exactly what happened.
After crashing again on lap 20, Cassandra Collins got out of her car, and after coming out of the infield care center, instead of going to her hauler to see her teammate Jack Parker take the win, she walked to the #36 Tom Delgado hauler and found Carla Rosinski. It was reported that Collins started pointing at Rosinski and yelled at her. Rosinski then tried to explain how she had a brakes problem entering one, which caused her to get into Collins. Witnesses say that Collins got in Rosinski's face, but there were no punches thrown.
No penalty is expected to be access for Collins, however, officials did call Rosinski to the Stewards Office, so there may be a penalty for her.

Re: Race 1: Eurospeedway
(OOC: No worries, Ben. I just pretended it was the black car when I watched it.)
- Spoiler:
- Matthews in "bittersweet" return to track:
Doing this in an interview format.
How did it feel getting back on the track?
"To be honest, it was a relief more than anything. It's no secret that I haven't had the best of off-seasons. This was a good first step toward moving on."
Describe how you felt on the pace lap.
"I started to tear up, to be honest. Especially knowing why they had Harold (Smith) and I up there. It was a fantastic gesture by the Dash Cup officials to do that, and I can't praise them enough."
Talk about the race.
"Well, it was a superspeedway race. (laughs) No, really, the car was really good and when we hit the quarter pole running top 5 I thought we had a chance to win this thing. Then I got turned around on the frontstretch and that essentially was it. I don't know which of the Snowdrift cars ran me over, but I didn't appreciate that all that much. We still managed a good run in the end, but we deserved better."
Do you plan on returning to Dash Cup for another one-off?
"I'd love to run Spa if my schedule allows it. I'd also really like to be at New York at the end of the season. So we'll see."

- Spoiler:
- "Decent" Run for Team CTR
Team CTR managed to put two drivers into the Eurospeedway GP, and one finished inside the top 20. Iacopo Benedetti, an ex-motorcycle and rally racer, managed to bring his Lenard home in 19th after dodging two major wrecks.
"I had a lot of fun, it was a great time out there," said Benedetti, speaking through an interpreter.
TM Lights and ASCC driver Joe Olenick, who was expected to be competitive, faded late in the race.
"The handling went away on the car and it wouldn't turn at speed. So we finished where we finished," Olenick said of the race.

Re: Race 1: Eurospeedway
Penalties
#6 HARRIET WALLACE - Warning for incident with #42 Akira Tsukari.
#36 CARLA ROSINSKI - 3 month probation, 15 points deducted for intentional crash.
Looking at the results, it looks like I actually missed a few major incidents in the video. I'll probably cover them in the Norisring pre-race. btw, results and points are up

- O'Reilly "Deep in a Hole" After Eurospeedway Wreck
The first race of the 2013 Dash Cup season at the Eurospeedway, site of the Eurospeedway GP, saw many fresh and new faces, teams, cars, and paint schemes. Andrew O'Reilly and the newly re-branded Westockin Racing Team falls under this category, as with the departure of Speidel from the Dash Cup ranks, the team quickly jumped on with rival manufacturer STS for the 2013 season.
Unfortunately, the brand new season started off less than stellar for O'Reilly and company. After racing his way into the field, O'Reilly only managed 31st in qualifying on a type of track that would normally have O'Reilly near the head of the field.
"We've been struggling a bit with the new STS, that's pretty evident. Lots of bugs and kinks and stuff like that. Still, it's early. Don't worry about nothing," smiled O'Reilly after clocking his starting position for the race.
Things never really looked up from there, as even though some pit strategy put O'Reilly up towards the front after an early caution, he quickly sank like a rock. Being mired deep in the back put him a position to get caught up in a wreck, which did happen on lap 20.
Defending champion Reuben Vogt was forced into the grass, and came right back up into others, including Packer Carroll and Rallen Hayden. Carroll was sent flipping after both Hayden and O'Reilly made contact on the frontstretch. Everyone was alright after the incident.
"I had nowhere to go, I committed to the bottom but Rallen [Hayden] was there. Nothing either of us could really do, honestly. Glad that everyone is alright after that. We'll have to come back hard at Norisring, we've really gotten ourselves deep in a hole. Hopefully all of the off-season testing and exhibition races will help us with the road courses," said O'Reilly after being checked out of the Eurospeedway medical center.
O'Reilly, finishing 31st, sits 31st in points after the first race of the season, 56 points behind race winner Jack Parker.
