Brazilian GP

Well they've done it again.

3 driver championships in a row.
3 Constructor championships in a row.

But I don't even care about that, this has been a really competitive season with more exciting races than ever before.

I'm a huge Button fan, and as nice as it is to see him close what's been a wacky season with a win, Hulkenberg should've won this race.

I suppose my cousin will be happy as he works for red bull. I like how they go on about 10th in the manufacturers title as if anyone cares

Raikkonen comes back to F1, and finishes 3rd in the championship with one win. Wow.

Eddie Jordan really hates Schumi. I detect a hint of jealousy.

He was just using the Marussia as a pick, and he just plain lost it, with no ill will towards that spin

Hulkenberg didn't do too much wrong, but he braked too late considering he was in the wet. Penalty was unnecessary, however.

From what I know (not entirely certain, so if I am wrong, please correct me), 11th and 12th in the constructor standings get no money.

And with that, the final F1 race coverage for Speed, much like the network itself will, ends. Will miss the old trio alot.


Also, you know how much a network will miss covering a series when they have a re-air of the race scheduled not once, not twice but three times

From what I know (not entirely certain, so if I am wrong, please correct me), 11th and 12th in the constructor standings get no money.

They do get money, but there is about a $10mil difference between each position in the standings

Well, Alonso did cry over the radio about the debris, and they brought out the Safety Car, so...

In his defense, there was quite a bit of debris over the track, so I could understand the Safety Car coming out (my first Ferrari manipulating the FIA comment was in reference to Vettel passing Kobayashi supposedly under yellow, and Ferrari complaining about it)

This. Rosberg got a puncture because of the debris. I think it warranted a safety car. As for the drivethrough I think part of the reason Hulkenberg got a penalty was because he was still running without much trouble after the collision, whereas Hamilton was done for the day.

It was still a BS penalty, and if I had been Force India, I'd have had Nico serve the drive-through when Button pitted for the last time, then brought Nico in for service on the next lap. He would've still been in position for a podium, or even the win.

Overall, despite Vettel winning 3rd title, I personally think this season has been a really great one, anyone agree?

Great beginning, got kinda dull during the summer, but these last three races have been fantastic. Brazil is the perfect place for the finale.

Hamilton got a 20 second penalty for taking Maldonado off in Monaco last year, was that a BS penalty too?

Thanks to you guys, I was able to read what was going on during the race on my phone while sitting in the car all day. I know there was going to be drama unfolding but not in a bizarre way. Seeing the clip of Kimi going on made me lol pretty hard. With how this season went, it seemed fitting that the season ended the way it did. I'm not crazy about Vettel winning 3 titles in a row, but I guess I'm okay with him winning it considering the circumstances.

Without a doubt, it was by far the best F1 season I've watched. Staying up at 3 in the morning for the races was worth it. I'm most certainly looking forward to what rule changes will come this off season and see if the next season will be as good, if not, better as this year's.
