Possible 2013 Plissken ride?

Thanks to G-Dub for the Nikon base and dalejrfanone from SRD for the logo help. I was going to use Clip 'Em but thought the logo looked a little more sinister so I changed it to MOWlicious instead.

It's a really good scheme first of all. But I'm not a big fan of the colors. Maybe an alternate color scheme matching the lawnmower's color palette?

I was thinking that as well but I had already made the number with a purple outline and just decided to go forth anyway. Laughing

I like purple though!
Then I thought that the red/green was such a stark contrast to the purple/gold that it sort of stood out because if didn't go together well.

Just noticed something, Plissken isn't actually driving the car. I think you have the default face on instead of Plissken's.

I like it too, but there's something up with the contingency decals. Maybe move them over the Interceptor shading layer?

Thanks for the cool render! As for the contigs, I think that they are following the shading on the contours of the car.

How about a more greener version?

After looking at it more closely, the green car kinda reminds me of the station wagon that the Griswolds used on their "vacation" to Walley World. Minus the wood paneling of course... Laughing

Hmm... Make the primary green a tad darker, turn the silver/gray layer the light green that the primary currently is. And then have the brown back where it was.

Purple Primary definitely... though it seems a bit saturated with the square's layer. Probably could tone that down a tad Smile

It's that 3D max layer that I used on the Loan Ranger car:

I meant lower the opacity of the layer to 50 - 60 percent. It can still stay though. That or choose a different shade of purple :3

My favorites are the green-over-green Mowlicious car, and the mostly purple version of the Snake Coils car. (anyone else reminded of Bigsby Foote's car by the second one I mentioned?)

Believe it or not, but the 3D max layer's opacity is set at 12. After meticulously and painstakingly altering the color of the Snake Coils logo to that particular shade of purple, the thought of changing it sends a chill down my spine! Laughing

Cool. I wasn't so sure about the brown/green MOWlicious car but that render has changed my mind. I have added wood paneling to it just to see how it'd look and made some slight changes to the Snake Coils car. I now await the new contigs and I think I'm finished with these. Still have KP's annual "cartoon" themed car to go.

If the joke was awful and you knew it to be so, then why did you use it? I'm not trying to be mean but just asking.

In any case, I believe the shot is from the 4 car I painted and put in game.

Made some modifications:

Added the snakeskin texture to the spoilers, valances, and driver suit. Swapped out the colors on the driver sig too. Hoping Lycoia doesn't mind the tampering with their decklid logo... Very Happy
