- Scurry comments on race 2 debris caution
"Its fucking shark week for me so I had a tampon in my lady part. It was getting itchy and very uncomfortable so I pulled it out and threw it out the window. I also don't fucking care what people will say. I am a woman that whats happens. You wanna talk shit about it say it to my face not in front of a fucking camera." After the post race interview, she got in an altercation with the camera guy and was escorted off the track's property.

- Spoiler:
- Delgado's Best Not Good Enough for Win, Settles for Third
A popular result tonight would have been a Tom Delgado victory in his first race since announcing his retirement from full time competition. He didn't exactly get that. Instead, he had to watch as Taylor Brillon celebrated in victory lane, and Mariano Zavala celebrated in his pit stall for finishing 2nd.
"I was driving my hide off to try and win in front of these people. If I almost wrecked people, I apologize, but I wasn't accepting anything less than victory. Finishing 3rd here is great, but it's a bit hard to swallow considering I was gunning for a win tonight" Delgado said in his post-race interview, disappointed that he wasn't able to finish the job tonight.
"Congratulations to Taylor though, she earned it. Same to Mariano, he proved himself capable tonight. I'll be back at Rockford, but I really wish I was racing at Talladega. I love these big ovals and I'd like to think I'm one of the best at them" Delgado added before walking away.

- Spoiler:
- Nikos Kastapolous was very pleased with the 6th place run at New York.
"Excellent job by everyone this week. We were able to stay in the lead pack practically all race and we had a very legitimate shot of winning this thing. Definitely a run we needed to boost our morale."

(OOC: Had a full write-up done last night and unfortunately I think Herman ate it. So I'm reposting what commentary I can remember.)
- Spoiler:
Ryan Matthews on Race 1 engine failure:
"We had an R&D engine in the 106, just trying some new things, you know, see what works, what doesn't. Apparently what we did didn't work. Now we're off to Rockford."
Tiffany Matthews on Race 2 run:
"Wow, my car was on rails out there. It felt fantastic. I think we even may have been up front for a little bit. Would've liked to have finished a little better, but the car faded down the stretch and I couldn't get anymore out of it."
Tiffany on being eliminated from title contention:
"It sucks, clearly. That incident at Orange County last week was a killer. I really hoped we'd have been able to overcome it, but it wasn't meant to be, I guess. It's also unfortunate because I'd really have been able to go into Rockford and not worry about racing in. Now I have to."

- Spoiler:
- Aaron Singer Survives Carnage at New York
Despite running well off the pace during the Zing Energy 300 at the New York Autoring, Aaron Singer jubilantly exited his #111 Singer Hotels and Casinos Inglesby at the end of the race, then issued the following statement to reporters:
"Fuck yeah, did you see that? I almost got wrecked three times by those fuckin' assholes, and look at that, here I am! Whaddya think of that, fuckers? Who's the talentless hack now? It ain't fuckin' me, that's for goddamn sure! Fuck yeah!"
Singer, of course, was referring to the two large accidents on the second and twelfth laps, and the near-accident caused after Tom Delgado made contact with the lapped car of Paul Lyons. Full of energy, Singer then proceeded to attempt to push a tire rack over, but found that he lacked the strength and pushed over a jack instead.

Zavala laments runner-up finish
Despite showing much more speed than in his previous ARLA Elite Series races, Mariano Zavala was clearly not satisfied with finishing second to Taylor Brillon in the second round of the Zing Energy 300.
"I could have passed [Brillon] any time I wanted," said Zavala, "I was setting her up in turn 4, but then that idiot in the 54 [Paul Lyons] screwed it all up."

Lane Cranston: It's really disappointing to drop the valve ten laps from the finish when we were running near the front. A real shame. Looking forward to going back to Talladega.

Getting back to form
Holden Roberts was excited after getting a 13th place finish stating:
" Its been a bit of a struggle the last little bit, But for a bit I could actually feel the team getting better! I dont know what we hit on but we made this car a heck of a lot better during the race. It was a real surprise to me but It feels good. We're still working on a deal for next year but its feeling a little more positive today"
