PKligBKFan wrote:Well Regan Smith is getting completely screwed. He moved to Denver, Colorado where the team is located and he doesn't even get to finish the season with them. He got them their first win as well. I believe Busch has already refused to move to Denver. Joe Garone & Barney Visser are super Christian. Can't wait to see how they react to him dropping the F bomb at Charlotte...
May this team be rewarded with many wrecked race cars. Can't believe they wont let him finish the season. Uggh...

After reading the Jayski article about potential replacements for Busch, I would LOVE to see Justin Allgaier finally get a fair shot in Cup. Never got one when he was with Penske IMO.

Phoenix Racing is shutting down at the end of the year.
But I agree with you, Allgaier deserves a cup ride. He won in 2010 when the Buschwackers won every race. He beat Villeneuve on a road course (never an easy thing) that JV grew up racing on. Allgaier is far more talented than David Ragan or Joey Logano.

They never said they were shutting down. They said they'd shut down IF they can't find funding.

Although, Phoenix Racing is kind of to blame for what happened. They're the ones that voted to keep Kurt after the Pockrass incident at Dover. The only thing he did after that vote was finish 3rd at Sonoma.

In fairness, he should've knocked out Pockrass.crl wrote:PKligBKFan wrote:Alpineopossum wrote:RandomClassic wrote:After reading the Jayski article about potential replacements for Busch, I would LOVE to see Justin Allgaier finally get a fair shot in Cup. Never got one when he was with Penske IMO.

I bet Phoenix Racing is wishing he would've. Then, they would've been rid of him, and gotten somebody who doesn't drive their cars like they're in a police chase on the 405.

Re: Why, Furniture Row? WHY?
there's something worse though. Kurt Busch will actually start his driving duties with the 78 car beginning with the next Race at Lowe's Motor Speedway, the race in 2 weeks time.
