North American Junior Stock Car Series (NAJSCS) Thread
*Approved by Cynon*
This will be a strictly short track series, and the drivers will be 14-17 years old, hence the 'Junior'. After 17, the driver will be forced to retire and move on to the bigger leagues (It wouldn't really be a Junior series if it had a 27 year old still in the league now would it?).
INFO & RULES
We will be using ARLA's twin race format, but the results of the two different races will go to two different standings (Division I to Division I Standings and Division II to Division II Standings). Top 12 in Division II standings at the end of the season will move up to Division I in the next season. Bottom 12 in Division I will move down to Division II in the next season.
____
I would like at least 40 full-time drivers and 20 part-time drivers. 20 full-time in one division. and 20 in another. 10 part-time assigned to one division and 10 to another. There will also be 5 part-time slots in each race for each division. So a total of 25 racers in each race of each division. (PM me which races you want your part-time driver in, remember, 6 is the limit, and you cannot participate in the Junior Championship).
____
This will be run on nr2002 (because sadly I do not own nr2003).
____
Fictional Sponsors only, but please don't make them big-time sponsors (Delano, Smash Beer, etc.).
____
Template: http://www.mediafire.com/?gava4et7eih1121 Aurora is providing the only chassis for this season, their Scepter model (huge props to Metro for the template).
____
There will be no contingencies in this league, because the lack of them.
____
I would prefer drivers that live in North America, but Europe is allowed too.
____
Here is how the championship race will work, the top 12 drivers of each of the Division standings at the end of the season will face off in a 24 driver battle at Myrtle Beach Speedway. The winner will be crowned the NAJSCS Champion.
____
ARLA's ratings are being used in this series.
____

I can't really paint on the tga file. Can I use this instead?
I'll get rid of the cooper tires logo and the hood logo might be made smaller

There's no point in using this package if most of its rules don't apply to any of the driversMetro 6r4 wrote:ARGH! MATHS! Which of these do we use:

It says that we should use ARLA Ratings for this series but personally I think the TM Master cup ones would be better.Ceej wrote:There's no point in using this package if most of its rules don't apply to any of the driversMetro 6r4 wrote:ARGH! MATHS! Which of these do we use:
