Re: Another No-Hitter!
As a huge Cardinals fan, it was rather bittersweet for me. But I have to admit, around the 7th inning I began rooting for the Mets to get the no-no, and look what happened.
Congrats to Santana.

Dear Mets,
Thank you for finally showing what a healthy Mets line up can do.

Re: Another No-Hitter!
Is there any record for no-hitters in one MLB season? Cause we've already had three.

Dear Mets,
Y'all still suck. See you in September when choke away a playoff spot again.

If the Mets suck, so do your Yankees. Just saying.

I didn't say they didn't. Both teams are have lackluster seasons. I was refering to this.Blake Camphausen wrote:Mets:29-23racingfreak1999 wrote:Dear Mets,

2007 and 2008 are still relatively fresh wounds. We're not expecting to make the playoffs, this is good enough. We'll be contenders in 2014 when all our young pitching is in the majors.

Two years ago we had three perfect games in one season.
The most in MLB history is 7 in both 1990 and 1991, as far as I'm aware.

Won't be a repeat performance from last night. R.A. Dickey has given up 2 hits through 2 innings today against the Cardinals, but the Mets are winning 3-0.

Re: Another No-Hitter!
And another one! The Seattle Mariners score the 10th combined (as in multiple pitchers) no-hitter in MLB history. The Mariners used six pitchers during the game.
