What I know about my computer: It's a Dell, and the monitor works as a TV, and up to three gaming systems can be hooked up to it.

An Intel i7? That's a pretty good chipset. Mine can't compare to it. I'm hoping to replace my computer rig sometime in the next couple years.

That's a pretty good laptop, although then again, laptop graphic cards aren't really the best for gaming in general (ex: deus ex, gta 4, blah blah blah)

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
My computer used to be the bomb but now that the good processor and graphics card are both fried and the fan is bad on it, it kinda sucks lol. It's hard to really do much gaming anymore with onboard graphics and a slow processor.

Re: Post Your Computer Specs
May be getting my old computer from my grandma back. If so, I would be the happiest guy in the world. This is what I used 3 years ago to do all my sim racing on and it was very fast, even with a P4. Rfactor was maxed out on my 24'' monitor and ran amazing. Hopefully, she will be willing to swap for my laptop which is far from suitable for sim racing and movie editing
2.8ghz Pentium 4
2.5GB RAM
XFX Nvidia GeForce 8800GT Alpha Dog XXX (Factory OC'd)
512GB WD Caviar
24'' Acer Monitor
I'll ask her today and throw in the "I need it for Autocad stuff I have to do at Voc. Tech". There is no reason why she wouldn't have a reason not to. It's not like she has anything on there; the damn thing is only on an average of 2 hours a week and she just had a restore on it.
I'd literally die if I had it back.
BTW, today was my first day back at Voc. Tech and we had a good discussion on Pointiometers and Servo motors. We're starting a new project and it involves (for me at least) tearing down my MS Sidewinder and adding FF and a Rev Limiter/Gear Selector. Best project ever!
