I have no clue what to think. I think a "Go Anonymous!" is in order, but I kinda wanna watch the race to see what will happen, but that will make me an enemy of Anonymous. So confused...

Spare a thought for the GP2 teams. They have back-to-back race weekends here; this weekend and next.

Yeah, it's one thing when you go to Communist China. You don't have people getting killed over a Grand Prix. We are having people getting hurt and killed over this. Enough is enough.

Well this is why I've been talking about, the race must be cancelled now because it's all getting out of hand in Bahrain big time.

This will have no effect. The protester was killed by the police, otherwise known as the government. The government won't want to do anything that may cause the UN to intervene (which I don't believe they are doing), that could end their regime.

Razia and Valsecchi are definitely the two competitors, maybe Colado and Gutierrez have a possibility, but it doesn't look like anyone else will really challenge.
I'm not sure Valsecchi will get a drive next year, unless Sergio Perez goes to Ferrari, and Sauber don't take either Massa or Gutierrez. That would be the only real possibility.

Re: 2012 F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix
I was afraid of waking up to seeing something bad happening but I would've been too tired to stay up for the race anyway. I'm glad nothing bad happened during the race. It's pretty amazing that not just 4 different drivers won the 1st 4 races but 4 different RACE TEAMS. It's kind of nice seeing Vettel win since he's been off to a rough start. Off to the next round.

surprised nothing bad happened, i was thinking something would but maybe this race was good enough for the track to stay on the calendar for 2013.

After the criticism the FIA faced, the only way there would be a return to the track is a change to the current regime of Bahrain...

Well, despite everything that's been happening around this race, it still turned out to be a good race.

Re: 2012 F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix
Decent race. Not as good as China, but still really good. Webber has now finished fourth in all four races this year, I think. Button had a MISERABLE day, as did Williams compared to last week. Bummer, I like Williams (for whatever reason). Massa finally scores this year, good for him. Nice run for Di Resta in the Force India too. Can't wait for Spain.

Formula 1 may have been over, but the GP2 returned this week with support from the Porsche SuperCup. Valsecchi once again takes victory in the feature race, one of 3 drivers to have won 3 races consecutively-the most ever won in a row in GP2, before Tom Dillman took his first GP2 victory. Valsecchi now leads the championship by 24 points over Luis Razia.
