My parents brought me a V8 Supercar drive for my 18th birthday, and I think I've accidentally thrown out the paperwork for it, and the company that the drive is with doesn't reprint paperwork. Which means I've just wasted a shit-ton of money my parents now don't have.

Crisis averted. Luckily my parents never got rid of the e-mail that had the paperwork with it.

While I see where you're coming from, I think FA and Champcar are only mentioned in passing because otherwise it would be too hard to keep up with story lines and news if there are no races actually being run, especially considering the details of those leagues are pretty murky. Heck, apparently Giles Villeneuve is in the canon. It would likely result in a bunch of plot holes and retconning and would cause confusion with the canon. Now, if someone were to actually volunteer to run these races...

Not too far from my school, a track called Limaland Motorsports Park, we have 3 classes (thunder stocks-avg of 20 cars, UMP Modifieds-avg of 20-25 cars, NRA Sprint Invaders-avg of 25-30 cars, we had about 40-50 cars since we had another sprint car series showing up last Friday) that run here on a daily basis. We sometimes have 6 cylinder trucks, late models, other sprint car series show up, and the WoO sprint cars show up once a year. That's pretty cool to hear that.

Ahh, yes. That track's not too far off from where I grew up. If I had to guess how long it would take to get from my home (from NJ) to the track, it would probably be around 2 hours. Yeah. 44 cars on a weekend basis for one class is a LOT. Like I said, the amount of cars we get for each weekend is pretty reasonable if you ask me.
