EFROC Series

There seems to be widespread interest in seeing the EFROC Series. I've had a couple of people volunteer their services so I am opening it up to everyone to show their talents.

Here's what I'd like to see:

1. Examples of paints to be used in the series.
2. Example of video with those paints in gameplay. Basically, how you will present the league. (doesn't have to be a 10-minute showcase, you should be able to exhibit your talent in 2-3 minutes.)

This will essentially represent Ernhrtfan Racing so I'd like to see how it will look before giving the go ahead to anyone.

If you ask me where to find the mod and templates then I will know that you aren't ready. Neutral

All cars had equal ratings but somehow two cars pulled away. Dunno what I need to do to fix that. silent

I'd keep it around 25 cars, one per person.

The intent is for it to be a series of champions with the possible addition of admins and mods. it would be definitely be less than 30. Originally, the entries included the most recent series winners and a couple of add ins.

These are just my opinions here:
I thought that was a mistake to switch mods. Personally, I still prefer the IROC mod antknee had begun with. The IROCZ28 mod looks a little too similar to the TMMC ASA 90s mod, at least for me anyways. I thought the track was fine, but the cars seemed to be moving around it at a snails pace so it probably wasn't the best choice to showcase it in the first video. Maybe you could have shown what the racing would look like at several venues.
I thought the music and editing were decent though. But the paint schemes were a little too bland to keep ones focus.

All in all, I'd say it was sort of a mixed bag.

Hey ant, will the entrants be able to paint up their own cars (if they can paint, that is) this time or will it just be where all the cars use the same base type of thing?

my vision was to take inspiration from IROC, i like the fact that it would be the same base but i can be convinced otherwise if someone is up to the task.

I would think, instead of using the IROC mod or a variant of it, you use a mod that uses one chassis, and three different bases of said chassis, of course you can have your own colors in it. Or you could have an IROC based deal and have white as the primary and a different color as the secondary.

I would suggest using the PWF GNS mod with AI variable and using NRatings. I would put something but I can't do anything around my schedule.

PWF GNS would look no different than any other series currently in production. the idea is to set it apart...the IROC mod would do that.

Theoretically you could do it with anything as long as the bodystyle would be the same. But since you only need one body, IROC, IROC Z28 (even though they have icky Chevy logos on them Razz

), or any other mod that only has one mesh would be ideal, since it's not likely it would be used for anything else.

You could even do it with the Ferrari mod that's been floating around out there, but I'm not sure if it has a damage model or not.

and here's a question....seeing as how this will be canon, and Pontiac and Chevy aren't in the canon, what will be the Manu for it?

I'm 99% sure this would be non-canon, so whoever runs it can kind of do whatever they want with the cars. If the Camaro mod is used I would prefer that any of my drivers that are represented have all the GM decals removed.
