Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who won the 2011 Nationwide Series title, will compete in the 2012 Daytona 500 in Roush Fenway Racing's #6 Ford. The team does not expect to run the unsponsored car for the full season but is locked into the first five races based on owners points from 2011 when the car was driven by David Ragan. The only race confirmed for now is the Daytona 500. The team currently does not have a sponsor for the race, team spokesman Kevin Woods said. Stenhouse will participate in the NASCAR test next week at Daytona International Speedway to prepare for the Daytona 500. Whether he runs a full Nationwide schedule in 2012 has not been solidified, Woods said.(SceneDaily)(1-6-2012)

Well, I never had a problem with Ricky to begin with. So, this doesn't affect me. At least the 6 car will see another 500.

I wouldn't say he completely failed, a truck win at Dover isn't easy to come by. He's done okay in NASCAR, not exceptionally well, but he hasn't had top notch rides like Stenhouse.

That race at Toledo you're referring to was instigated by Stenhouse. I think Scott truly got the last laugh in because he's drawn more fans then Stenhouse ever will. Just saying.

Speed didn't do crap Stenhouse from what i saw, Stenhouse just flat out wrecked him for no reason, Speed had every right to dump him back. The lowest thing you can do is wreck a guy for a championship, Even if Speed was terrible that was BS by Stenhouse.


To be honest Roush should've canned both Braun and Stenhouse after their dismal 2010 season, but apparently Stenhouse is Roush's favorite son or something cause if he canned Braun for the high repair bill..it should've been the same for Stenhouse as he was about as bad if not worse then Braun that year.

Stenhouse won the title due to how good Roush's equipment was (Ragan won a race and Edwards was the favorite to win the title until A WILD TONY STEWART APPEARED) and the fact they didn't give Cuppies points. In reality give him something other then Roush stuff and fall flat on his face and/or have a repair bill the size that compares to what Rusty Wallace's team goes through a year.

Why do I despise Stenhouse? Look back at the ARCA Toledo race (And everything else Cynon mentioned). He couldn't try to win a championship without wrecking the guy he was battling. Infact, he kept bumping him even at the beginning of the race. Scott didn't even do anything to him before that but no, he had to wreck a guy and look what happened, he didn't even win it. His disasterious first-half 2010 season was the best laugh I ever got because it was like Karma magnified ten-fold.

I'm just happy the 6 car is still surviving to a degree.

Ricky Stenhouse = Only guy who ever won a race with a blown motor.

^^Reason why I will never like Ricky, that was Speed's title and Ricky had to wreck him to try to win it and failed cause Justin ended up winning it.
