Throwback Weekend in Full-Swing at Darlington
Earlier this year, PCC Cup Series Supremo John Kowalski announced the creation of "PCC Throwback Weekend," intended to celebrate the 34-year history of the series. As such, when the PCC Cup Series rolls into Darlington this weekend, a number of cars will have paint schemes familiar to long-time fans.
Below is a list of Cup Series teams running special schemes for Throwback Week:
Manticore Engineering (#2, #3, #8 )
Team Ben Atkins (#5, #15, #155)
Lucas Motorsports (#6)
Matthews Motorsports Team (#00, #20)
Accelerator Motorsports (#24, #41)
Johnson Racing (#31, #51, #71)
Paloma Autosport (#32)

Griffith Motorsports (#39, #49)
Stephans Racing (#55, #65)
Clason Enterprises (#77, #79)
Kowalski also hinted that the broadcast would a "blast from the past," featuring music selections and commentary familiar to long-time motorsports fans, calling it a "loving tribute to all that have come before us."
