How is this comedy?
There's a law firm here in Nashville run by a man named Bart Durham, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney. For the past 30 years, he's had an injury law firm (read: ambulance chaser) here in the Nashville area that his son is now a part of.
Durham has some of the worst commercials I have ever seen on TV. About 5 years ago, he did an unforgettable (though many would like to forget them) series called, "Coach Foster Fights Back," a fictional "soap opera" about a Little League Baseball coach who's paralyzed in a late-night car accident driving home from a game, after being hit by an 18-wheeler whose driver fell asleep at the wheel. Coach Foster sues the company, drafting the Durhams to help him. He also gets an operation that helps him walk again. The series consisted of 30 one-minute commercials, which was eventually shown on TV as a half-hour infomercial. The ads were panned, and made fun of on a national scale. The acting was completely hideous, and parts of the story were majorly unbelievable.
Since then, Durham's ads focus on a single client giving a testimonial voice over about their case, while being shown doing something fun. This is one of those ads, and it makes me again ask the question from the thread title: How is this comedy?:
Also, if you want to see at least part of Coach Foster Fights Back, here's the whole thing, but don't say I didn't warn you:

There's also a car dealer here in Nashville that I will not name, but here's one of his awful commercials:
The difference between the Durham ad I posted and this one above is, Durham allows comments on his ads on YouTube. This guy's ads are so panned, comments are not allowed.

Well, if the guy is willing to take his shots, then at least you have to give him a little respect for that (though that respect would probably all flutter away the first ambulence he chases after getting said respect)

Well, lawyers aren't particularly known for their sense of humor.

Well, at least they're not putting their fake-boobed wives or freakishly blonde-haired, blue-eyed sons, jailbait daughters, or autistic daughters, in their ads.

I just found out that the Carnival Kia owner was a Pro Stock Bike racer in the NHRA, where he reached the semis of the '04 US Nationals, and got knocked out by Antron Brown.
