Iowa Corn 300 - IndyCar

IndyCar heads to Iowa for this weekend's Iowa Corn 300 on Sunday afternoon. Josef Newgarden dominated the race one year ago.

Scott Dixon won last time out by beating the Penske foursome at Road America. He leads to title chase by 34 over Pagenaud.

Even though I don't like Penske nor Helio, he deserved this after so long. Good win Castroneves

About time Castroneves remembered how to win a race.

Aight race. Glad to see Helio get a win on the weekend where it's pretty much confirmed this is his last full year in the series.

Finally! Hélio's three-year winless streak has come to an end! I'm still surprised that that streak ever existed in the first place considering that he never really went through a real slump; he's shown championship-caliber speed the entire time, but for one reason or another he just plain wasn't able to win. Regardless, he's finally climbed the fence again, which is great to see!

While I'm happy for Castroneves, I also would have been pleased had Hildebrand been able to pull it off, himself. That was yet another fantastic oval drive by him. Hopefully he will be able to score his first victory in the near future!

Overall, I found the race to be plenty entertaining. That was a lot of fun to see everyone have to fight so hard both to make a pass stick and to keep their own cars underneath themselves!
