Re: 2017 FARC: Season Preview
Antutonnen and Lake ready for the season start.
Shortly after seeing the review of the start of 2017, Alexa Lake told reporters that she was willing and raring to go. At one point, she seemed excited enough whereas she was physically not sitting still. Needless to say, she's ready.
Antutonnen, on the other hand, when interviewers came knocking at his trailer's door and asked him about their plans, he simply stated "We'll see." Antutonnen, of Switzerland did leave a written note for us though. It read
"I believe with my whole heart that Lake's and Waalwer's abilities in various race cars,
I've given to them will be able to show great things. While my skill may be lacking, I'll certainly give it a shot. I never did think I'd return to racing. Here I am, at 61, back in a race car. As for the season, I can't say much, I sponsor my own team, and even though we have plenty of funds to do races for upwards of three years, I do not want to end up wasting precious money. If it gets bad, I'll have Lake, or Waalwer, and I go unsponsored. Hopefully that will not be the case. We shall only see as the season goes on."
Waalwer expressed very little in his conversation with interviewers, but what he did say, sounded promising. We can only wait and see what Master Sport Racing's future in FARC holds, and to that, I will wait patiently.
