F1 heads back to Singapore to start the final 1/3 of the season. Here are a few headlines entering the Singapore GP.

F1 has Been Bought

The news broke recently that Formula 1 was bought for the small price tag of 8.5 billion dollars. The speculations after the selling was a new leader for F1 in the office, but nope. Bernie Ecclestone is still in office. We will see how the new ownership group will affect the field.

Father Time Claims 2

The major news entering Italy was Felipe Massa announcing his retirement from F1. However, later that same week, Jenson Button announced his retirement from F1 to make room for Stoffel Vandoorne at McLaren. At this point, no one is quite sure what Felipe and Jenson will do after this year but it has been rumored that Jenson will be some sort of mentor to Stoffel.

Nico vs Lewis

The drivers title is heating up like boiling water. Lewis' championship lead has been cut to only 9 points ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg. With so few races left, the championship might be going down to the wire in the home stretch of the season.

Will Ferrari Repeat?

Last year, Ferrari pulled out a victory over there Mercedes rivals. Judging by last year, this is possibly the last chance for Ferrari to win a race this season, but we all know the brilliant strategies they pulled in Australia and Canada.

Rosberg then went on to top FP2, but Hamilton missed a significant portion of the session due to hydraulic issues and wound up 7th, and did not do his race simulation either.

WOW. Was not expecting a race like that. Rosberg continues to surprisingly pull away from Hamilton, but the real story was that finish. Riccardo came oh so close. And hey, Kevin Magnussen brings a point home for Renault!

Another Grand Prix, another win for Mereceds and Rosberg, though this time Ricciardo posed a challenge. Also, P10 for Magnussen.

I only caught the 2nd half getting ready for Sonoma, but the finish was aight with Ricky going full chasedown.
