CloudSportTV: A former Dash Cup owner has allegedly bought into the team, and has signed Atkins to continue his role as a part time driver. <link>

HQSRacing: We are happy to announce that Barry Astor has taken over the team as a majority owner. @BenAtkins50 will continue in his role as a part-time driver.

BenAtkins50: I needed this. It was a hard decision as to what team I wanted to sell but Mr Astor mentioned a while back he was looking for a lead into American Motorsports and I gave him it.

BenAtkins50: I will still be in the PART paddock, of course! I still love racing in the series, and of course, American Racing is my main focus this year, but I'm glad to have Barry on board!

HomeTownNews@7: 32_34 Motorsports/Racing We witnessed a horrific crash from our hometown legend. Alder Carson fortunately walked away from serious injury as his truck lost contact with 4th and 5th gear causing his engine to blow out, he span into the infield and became airbourne and then nicked the top of the number 32 truck sending him sideways roof first at 160MPH into the outside wall crushing the entire right side of the vehicle. How he walked away, we have no clue, we're just thankful he will race again next race. <Link to video> However, this race day would not go unscathed, driver of truck number 32, Nicholas Radcliff, was airlifted to the hospital and is in critical condition after being tapped on the roof lost control and plowed directly into the pit wall, clipping the left fender and shredding the entire left side of the truck.
Two other trucks were involved but drove away unhurt.

32_34 Racing - Dash Cup: Officials over at 32_24 Racing's new bid for 2017 Dash Cup has finally announced the manufacturer they will use. Duncan has now joined on board with 32_34 Racing under a deal that states: "Get our name out there...please? You will be rewarded." Kind of sketchy, but Sierra Aliv, executive test driver, tested out their 2016 model and was satisfied. However, it seems like reliability may be an issue for 2017. More news to come soon. @ALivToLove will go out and test again tomorrow. She has more on this.

ALiveToLove: I tested Duncan out today and was thoroughly pleased, however, reliability might be an issue. After testing it out for two hours, the engine died on me. After jumping into a newer model Duncan, I had a similar issue, only this time, the frigid cold of our test track in Virginia caused the gas pump to crack and leak. Not to mention I flubbed my steering and jumped into a ditch.

ALiveToLove: Handling was a big plus though. It felt as if you tweaked the steering 1/8th an inch and you'd be in a ditch. Going to take some great drivers to handle these beasts. <Picture of test car in the ditch>
