2011 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000
I know the race isn't for 2 months but I just get it out of my head.
The event is from the 6th October to the 9th (NOTE: I DON'T know when it'll be on TV in America). Since 2006, I haven't missed one race. It's an awesome weekend & it flies by just like that. Usually, I go up at about 5AM Friday & go back home sometime Monday. Might be going on Thursday this year (maybe even Wednesday for the truck parade).
Anyway, this is an early & UNOFFICIAL ENTRY LIST. Some entries are comfirmed: (for those of you who aren't sure, RED is Holden & BLUE is Ford

Re: 2011 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000
Isn't Grant Denyer a reality show winner or something.
I'm really looking forward to the 12 Hours of Bathurst next year. Looks like they will get a bigger entry list with the new rules. 160 car models are eligible now from GT3 cars down to Renault Clios.

He's a news caste/Race car driver. He's co-driver will be the winner of the Shannon's Supercar Showdown (which he is hosting)

I hope not. I'm a Holden supporter. Don't really have a favourite driver though. Although people might not see me, I'll be seated at reid park ( where Johnson hit that rock).

Pulling for Van Gisburger, but I have a feeling it will be damn hard to beat the Lowndes/Skaife duo. That's a potent mix.

Miles Racing withdrawls entry
Unfortuneately, Mostert & Walsh won't be taking partin the endruos. They were allowed to, but something has made miss out.

Re: 2011 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000
It's official: SPEED will send its own on-air crew and production crew to cover the race live. Leigh Diffey is a definite. Bob Varsha won't go, because F1 is in Japan on the same day.

Not suprised about Diffey. When the V8's were aired on channel Ten, he was a commentator (of some sort).

Obviously, this is to promote the race in Austin in 2013, which I really want to go to.

I don't know why by the trackside commentators give some updates about the race during the day. It's okay during the pre-race entertainment, but not during the race

The track, Not sure. The seating areas, more than likely. 2 kangaroos showed up where I sit in 2008

DW is hilarious in the fact that even though he's a NASCAR champion, he thinks he's an expert on all other forms of racing. It's rather sad.

This. Horrible move SPEED. Having Marcos in Sprint Cup doesn't make NASCAR analysts automatic experts on V8. Since Montoya is in NASCAR, why not have DW call F1? I'm kidding. Please don't do that. I don't wanna go to prison.

At Phillip Island this weekend, Tony D'Alberto has been forced out of his ride due to illness. Taz Douglas will replace him. Hope he feels better at Bathurst
