TDR Recap:
Cyrus LaTerza Wins Prismriver 200

On a night where there was more of the same stop and go racing carried over from Columbia, Cyrus LaTerza put Tom Delgado Racing on the win board for 2015 with his victory in the Prismriver 200 at the Nashville Fairgrounds. With his win, LaTerza moved up to 2nd in the championship, 15 points behind Rip Tyler. The former TM Master Cup driver, driving the #17 Alison Becker Lenard, was able to take advantage of the cautions to give his crew time to get the car right for a run at the end, and held off Leslie Riggs to claim victory.

Another Tough Short Track Night for Delgado, Salvages 15th

For a former 4-division race winner like Tom Delgado, short tracks should not be a problem. After Columbia and tonight in Nashville, they are indeed proving to be a problem. The #37 Defender Muffler Systems Lenard was involved in several incidents and fell off the pace, eventually finishing 3 laps down in 15th place. Despite scoring another top 20 finish, it seemed like the most versatile driver in racing history was feeling the heat just a bit. "These past two races are not indicative of what me and this team are capable of, not in the slightest. Even though I own a Master Cup win on a short track, I am not a good short track driver. Really isn't a lot of space to achieve what you want to achieve out there, and that made it tough for me. Nevertheless, we'll press on and I'll make good on the bigger tracks. The best is yet to come, I promise" Delgado said as he slowly walked back to the garage area.

Barnton Continues to Make Good After Texas DNQ, Finishes 9th

Despite a few incidents, some of them not of her own doing, Tammy Barnton persevered in the #87 Gibson's Speedy Lube Lenard and came home with a very respectable 9th place finish. After failing to qualify for Texas, Barnton has begun to make good on her performances, finishing 13th last time out at Columbia, and now 9th tonight. She will look to continue the string of good results next week on the dirt at the Tulsa Expo Center. Barnton is still outside of the top 20 in points, but if she keeps up with these top 15 finishes, she'll find herself in a good points position sooner rather than later.

NEXT RACE: ProLaps 100 @ Tulsa Expo Center (Indoors, Dirt)

Todd Rowe unhappy about accident that ruined his day

"You must be a really screw job for your team owner to get mad at you and dump you. And while some of the contact was unavoidable, such as with Tom [Delgado], why in the hell did 4 or 5 other cars have the urge to not use their heads and slow down and avoid the wreck? I'm not a damn pinball!"

Blue Jay Racing Disappointed With DNQ On Follow Up Race

"After the top 20 at Texas World, it's very disappointing I didn't do well enough to qualify for the race, Hopefully we can get some more funding for our next outing later this season! I still think we have a lot of potential to do well."
