Akona 250 presented by Federated Car Care

Last week, ARCA saw a surprise winner with Austin Theriault, in his first ever ARCA race, driving the Venturini #66 car that had never won before, passing a dominant Mason Mitchell late in the race to score the victory. Second place was still enough for Mitchell to pass Grant Enfinger for the points lead. This week, ARCA heads to Elko Speedway in Minnesota. Can Mitchell keep the points on Enfinger, or will a new contender emerge for the title?

This week's race will be the first of three this season to be broadcasted on CBS's sports channel, CBS Sports Network. The race will be on live Saturday night at 9 PM ET.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen an ARCA race on a non-NASCAR Cup track other than Toledo before. I've been looking forward to this.

It's too bad that there still aren't any broadcasters for ISF or DuQuoin, though.
