**IF I CAN ENTER A THIRD or FOURTH DRIVER**
Introducing...
61 - Ryon Reffett Sponsored by Polaris! (And by request: Culvers!)

What do you think?
Just a question, should I run with the Newgrounds version or the Best Buy version?

I think you should wait until they are approved before you just magically assume you will get in.

Re: My Unofficial Decatur One Offs
I understand where you're coming from, but, that's why I said IF I can get them in, it's a matter of being prepared in case they are accepted, so that way I'm not in a rush to create templates or forget to turn them in.
I'm pretty bad at remembering to do things and I tend to get things done ASAP so I don't forget to do them.
I'm just asking how people think of the paint scheme, if I can't use it, that's fine, it's not like I take the game too seriously, unlike some other people, it doesn't mean I don't like to be involved.
What I mean is in a role playing sense wise, and not in a sense where if one driver is kicked from a series, then I'll rage quit out of every other series.
Nor am I the type to just 'hang around' the site waiting for something to happen, like many others, I have a life outside the world of the internet.
I just like to create templates, it's fun, it allows me to get creative with the skill set I have currently, and it allows me to improve my skills as a painter.
Yes, I am getting NR2003, I do have a steering wheel, but it is not installing correctly for some reason, so I gave up on it.
Essentially, I like to post these kind of things to show the progress (or regress, hopefully that's not the case) of my skills, if I didn't like to post, or if I thought I was going to be torn to shreds, I wouldn't be on the site at all.

Maybe incorporate a bit more yellow into the scheme as it's part of the Wal-Mart logo?
Re: My Unofficial Decatur One Offs
I could add the asterisks to the quarter panels, maybe make the top number yellow?

That would be fine if his Union Representatives didn't tell me no XD
I'll think about it. I'm not going to do too much to this car until I know I can get it into Decatur.

Most corrupt company ever.
That being said, the paintjob is not white enough (I think White is their primary corporate color, even though most of their stores are blue), and I don't normally associate WalMart with the energetic flair that the base has...
I know you're trying something more elaborate with this one, but I think that department stores in general (such as Walmart and Target) are best represented with simpler paintjobs.

Okay... hmm... I'll get back to work XD
Maybe I can try a different primary sponsor, I like the color scheme... Culver's Maybe?
Or Polaris (I can't find the Dirt to Daytona Paint Scheme to the default car when you start the Cup portion of your career)
I'll work on it.

HOLY 30 DIFFERENT SHADES OF BLUE BATMAN!
Also, with complete bias, I think the RC Cola logo should be much bigger.

No.
I would make it bigger but it would look blurry, I'm keeping it as it.

^This^ You don't just paint cars for races that you don't even know if you'll even get on the track. Me and AAROdynamic426 (a.k.a. Vinny) painted an ASCC car that turned out to be awesome, but it wasn't approved yet. Thus, it did not run the Texas 500.

Excuse me?! But he can paint any car(s) he wants to paint. He don't have to wait for any type of approval just to paint something up. You guys need to get over yourselves.

So THAT'S why you were considering Walmart being a sponsor for National Racing back in '09!

OK, my take on this:
I understand that Greg can paint whatever he wants to paint, I just don't think that should paint cars as good as these for a race that he doesn't know if he's gonna be in, because there's a high chance he could be disappointed to find out that he's not even gonna be in the race.

Well, why not be prepared in case the opportunity presents itself? Better safe than sorry, correct? And even if he doesn't get into Decatur, he could still reuse these schemes for alternate paint schemes in the other races to put them to use. Even if they don't get into Decatur, they can still be used them for other events.

Re: My Unofficial Decatur One Offs
Well, my laptop crashed, so I guess it was a GOOD thing that I had these uploaded, I have my laptop at Best Buy, they'll try to recover what data they can (I hope it is all the data I want or need, especially the templates), so, if any lesson is learned, it is save often, and upload or back up frequently -.-
I'm using my netbook (which I am so frakin glad I kept), so, no more templates for me unless I can get my brute templates back.
(Well, I did upload the Indy version of the brute template to a file sharing site, maybe I can work with that.)

Made some minor changes to the 65, I noticed that the drivers side front looked off and it bugged me, it turned out that one of my layers had overlapped that area by mistake, so I took the time out of my sleeping schedule to fix it.

No, it's not the best by a long shot, the others here do a MUCH better job than I can ever do (not that the years of experience that they may have over myself isn't any consolation XD)
