TreatMyClot.com 300 @ Fontana - NASCAR Nationwide Series
Last week, KYLEWINSLOL came back as Kyle Busch took Bristol yet again. Last year, KYLEWINSLOL also applied at this race at Fontana as Kyle Busch dominated once more at the superspeedway. What will happen Saturday? We'll find out.

JGR has won 9 straight here at Auto Club / California, likely going to be 10 since Kyle is in the field.
Re: TreatMyClot.com 300 @ Fontana - NASCAR Nationwide Series
Another sign of Cup dominance turning the Nationwide Series into a joke: the race names in this series are getting dumber and dumber.

Congrats Kyle Larson, on your first NASCAR Nationwide win! 2nd Overall
Re: TreatMyClot.com 300 @ Fontana - NASCAR Nationwide Series
It was Kylewinslol though, right?
Oh wait. It wasn't Busch. Â Â
The race was meh during most of it, but it started getting interesting with about 25 to go. Good race at the end by Larson, Busch and Harvick. Easily the best race since Daytona.
This can be technically called Cuppiewinslol, but in this case, it was Larson's maiden win, so I think we can make an exception for that.
Overall, I'll give this race a 5/10. It was okay. Not good, not bad.

Good finish but as i pointed out in the cup thread a good last 20 laps doesn't equal a good race.

Never said it was a good race, but it wasn't THAT bad.
And Kyle Larson getting his first career win does add some cool points.

A Cup driver named Kyle still won the race.

Congrats to Kyle Larson on his maiden NNS win. The race wasn't great, but wasn't terrible either. So a 5.0/10.

Kyle Larson = full time cup driver
No exception granted. cuppiewinslol
Poor race until the finish, and we all know that a good finish does not make a good race.

(sigh) I already said once that I never said it was a good race. Yes, most of the race was meh, then it started heating up at the end. And yes, I will give exceptions to cuppiewinslol when its a maiden win.
It wasn't a good race, I'll agree with that, but it wasn't THAT bad. If the finish was just like the rest of the race, then I would've said that the race was shit. But the finish and the fact that Kyle Larson got his first win rescued it a little bit. It turned the race from terrible to average, but that's as far as I'll go.
That aside, though, the Nationwide Series still has a long way to go before it gets out of this funk its in. As far as I'm concerned, it's still a raging grease fire, and it's gonna take a lot to put the fire out.

IMO it's taken a step back this year.

At least, Larson needs the experience. Kyle only is there for his ego

Didn't get to catch it, what did they cover?Alta wrote:ESPN putting on the best pre-race show in years, Really interesting.
If they're not going to ban Cup drivers, I'd prefer it to be like this, with a developing/unestablished Cup driver winning.

Bulk of the show was on the cup drivers in Nationwide debate. Lots of interesting points.NeverNeutral wrote:Didn't get to catch it, what did they cover?Alta wrote:ESPN putting on the best pre-race show in years, Really interesting.

Which was ruined by the fact that they failed to mention even once that Trevor Bayne and Regan Smith are now tied for the points lead.Alta wrote:ESPN putting on the best pre-race show in years, Really interesting.

That's not the point. If the race ends with championship implications you should mention that.Alta wrote:In fairness and this is sad to say, Both have been anonymous has all hell.Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:Which was ruined by the fact that they failed to mention even once that Trevor Bayne and Regan Smith are now tied for the points lead.Alta wrote:ESPN putting on the best pre-race show in years, Really interesting.
