Duke finishes last at Memorial due to stupid braking point being off, while Dusablon surprisingly retires for damage collected through the day. Cox gets double points finishing in 18th after getting caught up in multiple messes early. Angelina Hawk, in her own car gets a solid 12th place finish.

Both Duke and Dusablon didn't give a comment on the memorial.

Betty Cox gets career and team's best finish after getting first top 10 in Daytona, while Jennifer Duke improves with her struggles but still nothing great.

I know a lot of people have been questioning this team since Jennifer and I were yelling at each other, but it's been pure frustration. Good Lord! They're are massive hippocrates, Van Gilder ran all over the #24 basically wrecking her, and when I give Van Gilder a taste of his own medicine, the officials get pissy. I refuse to fund any of those hippocrates pockets or start in the back!

Nick Van Gilder: She thinks that I wrecked the 24? Is she blind? How on Earth was it my fault when the 24 hooked me?! How am I supposed to not come down the track when my quarter panel is hooked without spinning out? I guess she thinks that it was my fault for having a solid car. Someone like Farr should know better than to blame me for that.

Breaking News! Betty Cox calls it quits after this season. Will not return to racing in 2015. Cites poor runs and mechanics for her reason leaving primarily.

Betty Cox has had enough. After finishing 18th in a 19 car field, Cox got out of her car and simply said "**** this ****! We continue to run like complete ****! I'm ****ing done! No way in hell am I coming back after this season because we suck so freaking bad!" She went storming off before she came back out for an explanation for her behavior. "When you suck as bad as we have this season, moral goes to an all time low. I've gotten I think maybe 2 top 10s then season and top 5, and road courses are supposed to be one of my best courses, but **** it, no reason we couldn't have done a lot better today. I have lost all desire to continue on after this season. I have a family at home who also deserve better then this. I have invested so much time to make a career here, but to continue to have poor runs, mechanical failures, and overall ****, then **** it I'll do something else with my life and not be back."

Jennifer Duke, who 14th after running close to and in top 10 in early stage also commented. "We are a new team so yeah we are going to struggle, but her losing her mind like that wasn't called for. She never got over the fact she shot herself in the foot and threw away a possible victory. Ever since then, she expects to be amazing everywhere and yes sometimes while the car isn't perfect and can give up, part of it is the driver. Of course, I'm disappointed with this decision but hey, I'm not going to try to change her mind, she clearly has her mind made up."

Betty Cox gets another top 10 and continues to struggle as Jennifer Duke just struggles

Betty Cox has just been avoiding the media ever since her post race meltdown so she didn't comment on her 10th place finish.

Jennifer Duke has spoken with the media though. "Betty and I are still great friends off the track but she has seriously lost her fire to be at the race track. It's a bit of a shame, but I understand why she feels the way she does. I've been talking with the engine makers of our team so I'm hoping that means good news in the way of things to come because they are saying they learned a lot from where we are competitive and struggle. As to what will happen with the 04 car, not sure yet."

Angelina Hawk gets 3rd in qualifying, as Bridgette Dusablon gets 25th, Jennifer Duke gets 28th and Cox rounds out the field in well...last.

"I'm hoping I can do a lot with this great starting position. My last race we got wrecked by a couple of idiots, so I want to do better then my 12th place awhile back." - Angelina Hawk

New team wants to join NPCC ranks

Final Stage Motorsports, team owned by 1992 APRS Champion Lesley Stage, is hoping to join the NPCC Super Pro Series with 2014 APRS Champion Kelly Ashcroft and also APRS Bianca Dawson. The team could join the series with Lenard badging and engines.

You may have up to three cars for each series, but only two can be full-time.

If you do, this means that Kelly Ashcroft (2014 APRS Champion) is a Level 8 driver and Bianca Dawson (8 full-time years in APRS) is a Level 7 driver?.

Technically, APRS is still a Minor Leagues series, which is in the E-Class, so no... unless Cooper says otherwise.

A reminder: if you are sending me ratings, remember that the Super Pro Series will use ALL EIGHT DRIVER STATS, but the Late Models, Sportsman, and Compacts will use just FIVE OF THE DRIVER STATS. ROAD COURSE, SPEEDWAY, AND SUPERSPEEDWAY WILL NOT BE USED IN THE LOWER TIER SERIES.

Illinois Racing Brothers to NPCC

Illinois short track racer John Ross is running full-time next season in the National Pro Cup Championship Sportsman Series. Ross, 28, will also be fielding a part-time entry for his 20-year old brother, Dustin. Both cars will be sponsored by the American Melanoma Foundation (I know this goes against canon rules, but I, the poster, really have had Melanoma several times in my short life time, if the Mods approve of such a measure). John will drive the #16 and Dustin the #17.

I assume ratings must be sent in via PM? Also, I have not entered directly into the chart yet because my account, which I applied for a few days ago, is still yet to be approved.

Real sponsors are allowed everywhere but FARC, and in FARC you can get a real sponsor in, depending on the reason (this according to FARC sposnorship rules). So, I think this would be an OK sponsor.
