Drivers warned about turning competitors into Pit Lane area

VSCC drivers have been warned about turning their competitors into the pit lane in the pre-race driver's meeting. The warning likely comes in response to the very serious incident at the end of the VERC race when both Bill Wainwright and Kristian Jankovic were turned into the end of the pit lane wall. Since the incident, it has been confirmed that Jankovic will be out for the remainder of the season and while there has not been an official announcement, sources have said that Bill Wainwright should be back in the 0 for the next VERC race, which is to be held at Spa-Francorchamps.


Drivers and teams have indicated that VSCC officials are considering handing out penalties to drivers who turn their competitors into the pit lane area; however, there is no official word on exactly what the penalty would be.
