Stanislav Warzsawski was to start his #10, but pulled it into the pits on the warmup lap and promptly called it a day due to mechanical woes.
The race was relatively calm, until lap 13. Tom Wilson, the championship-caliber test-driver for Johnson Racing subbing for Ryan Jefferies, gets blocked by Jan Schmidt in the #27 while attempting a pass. Schmidt goes sliding through the grass, and trying to be a hero, decides to merge onto the track at full-speed into the front of the pack. Bad idea. Of the 28 cars participating, around 12 or 13 were involved in the Qualifier big one.
The #6.7 of Trey Mackay finished 3rd, but the officials discovered that the team had modified their engine to run off of depleted uranium rods acquired from nearby nuclear power plants. While impressed with their impressive engineering skills and ingenuity, the PCC Cup Series rulebook states that all cars must be gasoline-powered, and thus the team was disqualified. They then went to the local club and drank their problems away whilst listening to eurodance.
The aforementioned Tom Wilson makes his PCC Cup Series debut, and ThyssenKrupp is rumored to be coming on board as a sponsor. Dan Branch, driver of the #888 Amp National Dew Chevrolet and self-proclaimed superspeedway expert, will also make his debut this week. Dan Sharp qualified for his third event, Ben Atkins and Ryan Griffin qualified for his 2nd races of the season, and Robert Nelson makes his first start in what seems like ages.
Please discuss.

Re: Eurospeedway Qualifier
Leckliter calls bullshit on the 6.7 penalty
"I don't know what the problem is, the Leckliter Racing cars use propane, and propane is not gasoline, not does it burn like it, propane is a clean burning fuel. Nuclear Power is also a clean fuel, so I think the Eichthundrra cars were just thinking of a better alternative to gasoline."
While Leckliter claimed that his team used propane powered cars, PCC Cup officials found no such thing in any of the inspections during the season.
