EFR Weekly awards (Austrailian GP/Bristol Voting)
For each week, we will vote on a driver of the week and a reject of the week for each series that runs. Who ever gets the most votes, gets your point in the Season standings for driver of the week, or reject of the week. For example, this past week saw Cup, Nationwide, and Trucks run. So for each series, vote on who impressed you the most, or dissapointed you the most.
Cup
DOTW: Micheal McDowell (Top 10 in the 98 trash mobile)
ROTW: Carl Edwards (Wrecked 5 cars)

DOTW: Alex Bowman (For Getting his name on the map by being really competitive)

Re: EFR Weekly awards (Austrailian GP/Bristol Voting)
Results from week one of EFR weekly awards is up.
So far, it is a tight battle for everything. Except both DOTY and ROTY in Trucks.
Also, when F1 and Indycar start their seasons they will participating as well.

DOTW: Carl Edwards would like to thank Subway for this award. Honorable mention to Joe Nemechek.
ROTW: Goodyear. Riggs apparently had an XXTREME tire failure, Danica, Schrader, Gilliland, and Newman twice were all victims of their incompetence,
NNS
DOTW: Kyle Busch . As much as I dislike him, he did a good job dominating and putting all the sane NASCAR fans to sleep.
ROTW: Piquet Jr. For blatant stupidity and Nemechek is made a victim because of it.

Re: EFR Weekly awards (Austrailian GP/Bristol Voting)
For those who are blaming Goodyear, here's some food for thought. The tire beads melt from excessive brake heat. This is caused by using a lot of brake, which at Phoenix means you have a bad handling race car.
So unless you guys figured out a way to make a tire bead that doesn't melt from +1,100 degree Fahrenheit temperatures. I'm not putting this on Goodyear.

It's because they brought a new tire to help with that.... Problem not solved

Ok, I didn't know that one. But, there were what 5 cars that had tire issues, and they all were not running that well. If it was a Goodyear issue, what didn't someone like Edwards, or Hamlin, or Brad, or any other of the front running have issues?
They didn't because they weren't having to use the brakes as much. The heat is reduce and the tire is fine.

You're kinda right since it DID cost Jimmie a shot at the title last year...

Yeah, when Brad was running after Kyle for the lead, Chad obviously was letting Jimmie know that. So, Jimmie more than likely started to run his car a little hard thus using more brakes. They heated up and the heat melted the bead.
