Just don't try to take a gun to the NRA 500. Texas Motor Speedway's rule (posted on its web site):
"Guests are not allowed to bring these items into Texas Motor Speedway - weapons or firearms."
That's right -- guns are banned at the NRA 500.

I'm not a big gun supporter or anything but the connection they're trying to make to the tragedy is just the media looking to stir up controversy where it doesn't need to be, but would we expect any less?
