- Foray finishes Carbondale a hero by tag-teaming with another driver to take out JKP.
Daniel Foray, the TIMmy driver known for being the troll of the team, decided to work together with another driver to take out John KirkPatrick, who was being a moving chicane and was incredibly slow. Foray told reporters that he thought it would be best to remove the 41 from the track. Once Kirk Patrick was taken out, there was a cheer from the TIMmy camp and possibly several others.
It is unknown if the officials will penalize or celebrate what happened. Either way it got on the highlight reel and Foray's was rather proud of that fact. He would finish off the lead lap in 25th.

- Murphy Jumps Onto Podium @ Carbondale, MRD Motorsports to Switch to Acura Immediately
A.J. Murphy drove the #37 Exide Batteries Nemoto to a 3rd place finish at Carbondale this afternoon, but the big news wasn't his podium finish. The big news was that MRD Motorsports has finalized a deal to defect from Nemoto to Acura, and apparently that defection will be effective immediately!
"This is gonna give us great momentum going forward" Murphy said of the move. "We have this great finish to build on, and a brand new partner. I can't wait to get behind the wheel of the Acura RL and give'em hell" Murphy added. Representatives from Acura were in attendance today and had to have been impressed with Murphy's performance, and they left with the impression that everything is going to go swimmingly.
