Sometime we get on the negative with the way our favorite series are run among other things that makes us mad. But let's just focus on the positives

Just a general moments in racing that you liked, loved, got excited for.

What's some of your favorite moments in racing?

Man I got loads, but I'll do a few every post I make in this:

2008 Formula 1 Season Finale at Brazil, Lewis Hamilton wins the title in a nail-biting last lap.
Dale Jr finally breaking his long winless streak at Michigan in 2012.
Dan Wheldon winning the 2011 Indy 500 after J.R. Hildebrand crashes in turn 4 on the last lap.
2011 Aaron's 499, the record for the closest finish in NASCAR was equaled by Jimmie Johnson edging out Clint Bowyer (I was there too )
Jenson Button's amazing streak of 10 podium finishes in the 2004 Formula 1 Season.

Anyway for my moments.

Smith gets in the record books with a win at Darlington holding off Edwards to do it.
Trevor Bayne wins the 500 in only his 2nd start.
Castroneves tribute to Wheldon at 2012 St. Pete GP
Junior winning at Daytona in 2001. Months after his dad was killed
Zanardi getting to race again
2008 Brazil GP
2012 California Indycar race
The last two Watkins Glen races

2011 Kentucky (Indycar): Ed Carpenter finally picks up his first win by a nose.
2008 Daytona: Ryan Newman wins NASCAR's main event and first for Penske.
2011 Indianapolis 500: That finish.
2012 Indianapolis 500: The whole thing.
2003 Darlington Finish
2001 July Daytona Race: Dale Earnhardt Jr. wins after what happened in February.
2003 Brickyard 400: First race I ever attended.
2012 Watkins Glen
1999 Martinsville: John Andretti wins after going a lap down.

2003/2004 Bathurst 1000-Rick Kelly.
1979 French Grand Prix-Villeneuve vs. Arnoux, greatest F1 battle ever.
1990 Japan Grand Prix-Senna payback on Prost.
1993 British Grand Prix-Incredible first lap from Senna.
2000 Japan/Malaysian Grand Prix-Ferrari win both drivers and constructors championship for the first time since 1979.
1959 US Grand Prix-Jack Brabham wins the championship by pushing his Cooper Climax across the line.
1971 Italian Grand Prix-Greatest. Finish. Ever.

2003 Brazilian Grand Prix-Giancarlo Fisichella gives Eddie Jordan his final deserved win.
2000 German Grand Prix-Barrichello wins for the first time, first Brazilian to win a Grand Prix since Senna won the 1993 Australian Grand Prix.

I started watching Nascar in 2005 (1st race was Dale Jr winning that I recall) (So, Chicago 2005) so here's my top 5
5. That 2012 Talladega finish (nuff said)
4. 2011 Aaron's 499 (Closest Finish Ever)
3. 2011 Ford 400 (Best Championship Finish)
2. 2007 Daytona 500 (Yeah...)
1. 2008 LifeLock 400 (Dale Jr won 7 days before my birthday 6/20)
