I'm surprised more anything that Ty Dillon managed to time 3rd in qualifying. Then again, he is Richard Childress's grandson.

Thanks a lot, lapped cars, for costing Ryan Truex the win.

Re: 5 Hour Energy 200 - Nationwide Series
The sad thing is that Dick and Teague weren't even fighting for a spot. Dick was 6 laps down, Teague was 10. And they were both 10 MPH off the leaders. Cannot figure out why lap cars have suddenly become absolute idiots, but to block someone who is 10 MPH faster, is on the lead lap, and is leading brings any intelligence they have into question. I'd really like to know what they thought they were doing out there cause that was rediculous.

Really don't know what else to say about the race that I've already said on TS.
That was rather despicable what Logano, Teague, and Dick did today. I feel really bad for Ryan Truex. That one was ripped right from his hands.

it's just that lapped cars costed Ryan Truex his first NASCAR win.

When someone wrecks the hell out of a lap car, do you expect the nascar fanbase to be screaming with happiness? I really hope not...

well it's a legitimate complaint when someone who doesn't even bother to pass lap cars and flat out wrecks them wins over someone who did the smart thing and not wreck them.
So please come back when you have a legitimate argument.

Because acting like an adult and stating your displeasure in such a manner is so difficult. It's incredibly irritating to see a bunch of "adults" acting like children whose mommy took their toys away because a driver they didn't like won due to bad circumstances. Your favorite driver can't win all the time. Grow up and deal with it.

This is laughable. Are we supposed to kiss his ass because he won? He's nothing more than a lucky pretty boy with a rich daddy, and the fact that it's taken Gibbs, a very smart man, this long to possibly finally realize Joey will never be worth anything at the highest level, makes me lose respect for him.

Why do you care if someone else supposedly makes a dick of themselves? Is it any of your business? Are you an admin or a moderator? Furthermore, if you think someone is acting like a dick, do you have to be a dick yourself and take it to the whole forum instead of going to a PM?
I don't know, but your posts seem a lot more childish than the behavior you're complaining about...
Also, have you ever been to a race or a race party before? If you put a lot of people in one area, the reactions you will get from them are more extreme than if they were alone. F1 Rejects has far more extreme comments in the race threads over there (I'm talking about size 48 font in bold randomly appearing), but the difference is that nobody over there cares what people say during the race. Over there, there aren't any children who think they are more mature than they really are acting like smartasses.
In other words; shut up and quit bitching about other people bitching.

I don't know how many people on this forum list Ryan Truex as their favorite driver (Rykia probably puts him on a list, since he's a Martin, Jr. fan), but this race could've changed his career. Let me repeat that. Changed his career. Instead, he ends up losing the race because of two other drivers who should've gotten off the track instead of staying out there and ruining the proceedings, and on top of that, he ends up losing to a driver who only keeps his ride because he brings in the teenage girl demographi...aw, who am I kidding? They root for Kasey Kahne (he doesn't suck).
I hope the ending of this race doesn't negatively affect Ryan's career going forward, but considering a lot of owners don't use their brains, it does concern me.

I'm not sure it would have changed his career, the Nationwide field isn't as competitive as the Cup field, so I'm pretty sure Truex will get another few chances to at least run as well as he did today. If he doesn't get that chance, however, then you might be right. A little early to call that one I think.

Your favorite driver can't win all the time. Grow up and deal with it.
I hope he gets a few more chances. He showed today he can run in the right car, plus his resume in lower divisions (K&N Pro Series East) certainly warrants him getting a few more shots a Nationwide to improve his craft and get a run at Cup.
But considering that Cup owners today are more concerned with big names than talent, especially in the Nationwide Series, it irks me. Ryan definitely didn't lose that race because of something he did. It was because of something he was forced to do.
Oh, and Logano better pray NASCAR never totally bars Cup drivers from NW races. Otherwise, his last NW win will be his last win in NASCAR, period.

He said he's only got like seven races for this year in a Gibbs car, this was the third, so four more races, plus whatever he can find with other teams, since he's also run one race for RAB Racing and Tommy Baldwin Racing each, so who knows.

Also I haven't seen so much rage After an NWS race since Edwards bumped Keselwoski out of the way in Gateway

That wasn't really a bump, but you know.
