Official Daytona 500 Entry List Posted

I see four cars that don't belong in the race; The 40, the 49, the 32, and the 97.

I understand what you're saying about the 32, especially since they had a Top 35 lock in and sold it, and the fact that in the last six Daytona 500s, Terry Labonte has used his provisional in three of them, but Bill Elliott has every time he attempts the 500, locked himself in on either speed or his Duel finish. Sure, at a lot of other races he uses the provisional, but normally he is pretty fast. The sad thing is that the teams that hire them don't want them for their speed, just their spot in the field.

I like seeing Mike Wallace get a ride, but did it really have to be in the #37. Ugh...

As crazy as the off-season was, I'm somewhat surprised there aren't even 50 cars on the entry list. Then again, who knows how many more teams will join in within the next couple of days.

Most of the new teams aren't planning on running until Phoenix, Bristol, etc...
