Old EFR site last posting...

I managed to get on and post an announcement sticky directing people here.

No, it's actually doing just a little bit better today than it has been. It's taken about 5 retries or so (for each screen) to get through whereas it wasn't working at all. But I thought I'd post something sending them here just in case some others manage to get through.

The old site seems to up and running as of this post. It's back to what it had been before the slowdown-- so loot it now before it goes back down!

Out of all the attempts i tried to get in the forum this week, I only got in # TIMES!!!!

until snake posted that it was back up and running, I gave up and lost count on how many times I tried to reload....

In my opinion, I think this one gives us a fresh start.

I'm pretty sure we're here to stay. Just because the old site's up right now, doesn't mean it will stay that way.

To excess it when it is down just hit the "cached" link next to it in the search results.

Oh goody, I can go and copy all my threads to over here now. As of this posting, its working really well. It hasn't taken me centuries to get to a page like it did the past few weeks.

Hmmm, where is Cynon? Haven't seen anything from him at all (except on youtube interestingly ).

I know, nobody has posted on this topic in over 16 months, but looking back on the old forum, it's funny how there are spam bots posting on a board that hasn't been really used in god knows how long

Guess they like golf a lot....

My guess is that they saw the word "driver" and possibly "course" (as in race course or road course) appear a lot and the spam bots assumed it was about golf.
