- Duff Racks Up Points in Xenos' Last Hoorah:
To conclude what was notably a disastrous season for the Xenos crew, Duff and the #5 team gave them something to smile about as the Xenos recorded it's final few laps in the TM Master Cup Series for the foreseeable future.
"All that needs to be said about this past season is we were grateful to take home a 17th place showing. It's been a long, hard struggle all year long and it's actually a big relief to finally be done with it. Whether it was faulty equipment or just hard luck, it plagued our team every week it seemed yet they still remained optimistic behind the wall and finished the job. Even though we didn't crack the top 20 in points this year, I had a lot of fun working with these guys at Xenos. It'll be a shame to see them leave the series, but the show must go on and it's time for me to move on as well."
The #5 Xenos team finished 23rd in the overall championship, the worst of 15 competitors to take the green flag in 20 races. In 20 starts, they collected 1 top 5, 3 top 10's, 7 DNF's and completed 71% of the laps this season.

Johaanes unapologetic after lap 28 payback
In typical Chris Johaanes fashion, the driver of the #64 Shafer Group Tremwell showed no remorse after punting Brian Sendack into the wall on lap 28 in the aftermath of an incident that took place between the two just seconds beforehand.
Cars #64 and #90 got together in the approach to turn 3, resulting in Johaanes spinning off the course. Johaanes regained control of the car and barreled into Sendack's quarter-panel, turning Sendack dead left into an armco barrier.
Johannes went on to finish fourth. As he was being interviewed, the incident with Sendack was brought up, to which he responded, "I guess he [Sendack] want people to be dicks to him, so I'm gonna be a dick to him."
It is not known if Johaanes will be given a penalty, but if he does get a penalty, it is speculated that it may carry over to the 2013 season, in which Johaanes will move to Manticore Engineering.
