*CHICAGOLAND RACE UP* United International Stock Car Racing Association (UISCRA)

Post by TheRacingExperts on Mon Aug 08, 2011 3:52 pm

Approved by Cynon before the switch

Because of the changes we will now continue with the signups until NEXT THURSDAY 8/18, this will be the same time any customs are due
approved by Cynon

Alright so you know how most of my drivers have been from obscure countries that either nobody hears about or isn't that popular in racing? Well, now's your chance to do the same. Here's how it's gonna work: Signups are going to be held to put drivers into the 2003 Cup Season mod cars that come with the game, both realistic and game-made fantasy ones (the list of cars I have is below). Also, you can make your own schemes for your own teams / sponsors as long as you email the scheme to me.

SIGNUP RULES:
- Must be 16 years old or higher
- I'd like to get creative with the drivers, I'd like to have a whole bunch of countries and not just everyone from the us and Canada
- Teams can have up to 4 drivers / cars each

SIX MORE TEAMS CAN TAKE FOUR CARS

- Drivers can not drive full time in the major efr series
- Cars made by the submitter can have either real or fake sponsors, but I would prefer new schemes having sponsors on them
- If you want to make your own cars, the number must be number 200 or higher and MUST be emailed under CAR file. The "application" thing just messes with my computer.
- Any new car schemes MUST be done either by the submitter or somebody else in the forum. I'm sorry I can't find the time to do 20 schemes myself. If you can't make schemes, that's why the NR03 schemes are there.
- Please pm me if you are doing the car yourself or someone elses scheme. There i'll give you the email address to send it to.
- All schemes must be emailed to me by August 13th. No exceptions.
Any questions feel free to ask

10.) Nashville – Winston 200
11.) Infineon – Save Mart 275
12.) Milwaukee – Crimson Insurance Company 500
13.) Bristol – Sharpie 200

WITH TWO DAYS UNTIL SIGNUPS CLOSE, THE HAWGAUGHBEN INVINTATIONAL QUALIFYING SETUP REVEALED

Step 1:
The field will be split into two groups for two practice sessions, 60 minutes each. the times that end up will be combined in preparation for...

Step 2:
Something similar to the Gatorade Duels. The odd ranks will be in one race, the evens are in the other, with seperate qualifying. Each race will be 22 laps, and the top 21 of each race make it in.

Step 3:
The first ever 1,000 mile stock car race, at the Hawgaughben superspeedway.

Currently there are 51 drivers on the entry list, but theres still time, keep those signups coming!

ALRIGHT, so henceforth signups for full time drivers are closed. any others that decide on signing up for the series will have to be part time, and im doing the same setup as ARLAES, up to seven races of the remaining schedule will be run by each driver, and signup rules will still apply, which can be found on the first post of the thread.

im compiling the data of the opening practices now, and theyll be up soon

Re: *CHICAGOLAND RACE UP* United International Stock Car Racing Association (UISCRA)

Post by TheRacingExperts on Fri Aug 19, 2011 9:31 pm

QUALIFIER ONE:
Lap 1: Roger Clinton (ENG) and Luke Speed (USA) started on the front row of the 22-lap event (154 miles). Right away the field was going three and even four wide to start, but Roger Clinton (ENG) got a great push from Nico Romanelli (MLT) to get the upper hand. Towards the end of the lap, Romanelli would find room on the low side and make it a two lane battle, getting the lead with a push from Mike Blalock (USA). The battling would be real close, and it showed at the intervals of the first lap, when last place was only 8 tenths of a second behind.
Lap 3: Ulysses van der Wittenburg (USA) ended up making the room to get the lead, and the draft, but on the next lap, he would get it right back. And Tim Eagle (USA) would battle with the two of them for a three wide battle at the line.
Lap 5: Alonso de Lorenzio (ESP) loses the draft, and Tim Eagle seals the lead.
PIT WINDOW #1:
Lap 7: (#177, #119, #88)
Lap 8: (#38) As they cross the line to begin the lap, Codie Quintero (PAN) Starts to challenge Eagle, and eventually takes the lead.
Lap 9: (#67, #11, #17, #30, #18, #86, #0, #45, #135, #97, #23, #49, #101, #32, #4, #02, #153, #957, #22) Helio Fernandez (MEX) leads the lap since he was yet to pit. Meanwhile, the exodus into pit lane did not go so well for #135 Alex Descancoste (FRA), who was hit on pit lane at just the right place, and got spun by Oku Yamadaya (JPN), and ended up done for the day. Meanwhile, Helio Fernandez (MEX) and Dembo Kavvrizambe (CHD) battled for the lead before their pitting that at the line, the interval was 0.007 seconds.
Lap 10: (#191, #190, #10) As everything cycled out, Codie Quintero (PAN) remained with the lead, with only one challenger in Tim Eagle (USA).
Lap 14: Eagle makes the pass for the lead.
PIT WINDOW #2:
Lap 16: (#119, #38, #17, #177, #88, #86, #49, #30, #22, #101, #4, #23, #45, #97, #153, #32, #957, #02) As the pit window nears, many drivers catch up to the 11 and 67 cars up front, including a three wide lead battle between the two and Luke Speed (USA). But it was to no avail as he went to pit lane.
Lap 17: (#67, #11, #18, #0) Once again, the 10, 191, and 190 cars stay out.
Lap 19: (#191, #190) Nikolai Mahlyenki (RUS) is still out, and takes the lead.
Lap 20: (#10) As the 10 car pits, 17 Ulysses van der Wittenburg (USA) gets the lead, with 38 Jeremy West (USA), 67 Codie Quintero (PAN), 11 Tim Eagle (USA) and 190 Dembo Kavvrizambe (CHD)
Lap 22: Wittenburg had the lead, and although Luke Speed (USA) had some great momentum, it was to no avail. Ulysses van der Wittenburg of the United States wins the first qualifier.

I cant do a total recap right now, but i will tell you that the problems with wrecking on pit road seem to continue, after Mikhail Jasper ran right into Sin Chi Pamg's back bumper as he was entering his pit, leaving both cars with enough damage to terminate their Hawgabahn Invintational campaigns. Jasper was also called by officials to the hauler to find out what happened, but penalties are not expected to be issued. Ling Honh Dong of Laos and Derek Henderson of Scotland also failed to qualify

Heres the points system:
1st 60 pts.
2. 55
3. 54
etc.

the top 2 non qualifiers get two points (set by how far behind the driver was to the leader of their given qualifier) and any other drivers that attempted the race get one point. heres the example with race 1's DNQ'd cars:

blue drivers get two, white get one

#919 Derek Henderson SCT (-19.94)
#97 Ioan Burcica ROM (-20.66)

#32 Erik Mondio SWE (-20.83)
#957 Colin Stiles USA (-21.49)
#83 Ling Honh Dong LAO (-28.84)
#02 Roger Clinton ENG (-30.34)
#123 Sin Chi Pamg MAL (-7 Laps)
#109 Mikhail Jasper RUS (-7 Laps)
#135 Alex Descancoste FRA (-14 Laps)

Turbulant start for FGPA already

The second qualifiers did not go smoothly as pit road collisions were the story of the day. Mikhail Jasper is among several involved in pit road collisions such as one when Jasper was coming in for pit service. Sin Chi Pamg was just exiting the pits when Jasper hooked Pamg's bumper leaving them with damage to knock them out of the Hawgughben Invitiational. Jasper had this to say to Racing TV Russia reporters:

"Obviously, it was an oversight on both of our spotters. Pamg's spotter thought he was clear to exit and I was coming in to pit. But as it turns out, as I did, Pamg was just pulling out and I hooked him up and we both crashed on pit lane. My spotter never communicated that to me and I'm mad. This is a pure embarassment to Fortner GP America. I am so thankful no pit crews were hurt in this accident. We'll roll our fresh batch of cars out of the shop for the next race."

Stiles and Henderson Upset about missing the Hawgaughben 1000

When both of the Juneau Driver were asked about their opinions on the qualifiers they both reacted in similar fashion, with disgust.

"We really hate the we could not make the show for Juneau," a PR rep released today in a statement. "All we can do is put this behind us and hope for a better out come at Daytona."

"Our car wasn't the best it could have been," said Stiles. "Henderson and Myself were good in Q but failed to show it in the race. I guess will have to look forward to the race at Daytona next."

"Our car was trash in the draft. We could suck up to anyone but we did had good speed in front we just didn't stay there for long," stated Boers

Pineda and Boers Make the Race

The two Dodge Drivers on SRLLC were relieved to make the main event.

"It's really awesome being able to put show on for the fans, and we had a great result today," said Pineda "I can't wait for the 1000 mile event and show what SRLLC can do."

When asked about his car Boers replied, "We were alright in Q trim but once we put to race we couldn't find it. Also our pit stops could have been a little better but atleast we made it."

2011 HAWGABAHN INVINTATIONAL RECAP.
Daniel Fischer and Mike Blalock started on the front row, making it an all USA front row. Fischer would get the best start.

Lap 10- As the first cycle of pit stops go on, the problems with pit road fall into the main event, as Duncan Duvaler, Dan Olivier, Jared West, and Helio Fernandez fight for real estate and ultimately knocking into each other, sending all four cars out of the race and into the bottom four.

Lap 23- CAUTION 1: Jack Kingswell and Nduke Sutu Barbosa get into each other while going three wide with Itomi Dragovich sending all three hard into the wall, and as Kingswell takes stop the 9 of Daniel Fischer hits him really hard on his bumper sending Kingswell for more spins and Fischer going into the infield. All four would go out of the race.

Under caution however, as the field gets set up, Enrique Pineda slows down starting a dominoe effect that wipes out almost half the field! Gregory Johanssen is involed along with Brandon Holland, Danny Espinosa, Codie Quintero, Autumn Hampshire, Mika Vesso, Andrew Pastron, Mike Blalock, Mario Rossi, Nikolai Mahlyenki, Dembo Kavrrizambe, Ulysses van der Wittenburg, Alonso de Lorenzio, Arnalo Dalnero, Lukas Kronenburg and Damien Levingworth sending them ALL to the garage. And just like that, only 30 of the 142 laps in only 17 drivers are still on track! Pineda was promptley called to the hauler.

Not to mention that while this was going on, Oku Yamadaya's radiator goes sour. Just so you know.

Mateusz Kyparczyk would lead on the restart.

Caution 2 was on Lap 58 for debris, and Luke Speed spun out Tim Eagle in pit lane, giving him a call to the hauler.

The lead for most of the race after that would go to Hans Waultmann, with Hendrick Boers second. After about lap 93, Boers would get his turn at the lead with Waultzmann and Mateusz Kyparczyk right there.

Lap 136: After the final pits cycled out, Mateusz Kyparczyk was trying desperately to keep his lead. But with 6 to go, it was to no avail. And he had to go in the pits. This left Hendrick Boers in a 2 second lead over Hans Waultzmann with five to go, Waultzmann was gaining slight momentum over the 7 car, and went for the outside pass as the white flag flew. But it was to no avail, as Hendrick Boers of The Netherlands from Stiles Racing, LLC wins the inagural Hawgabahn Invinatational and becomes the UISCRA's first race winner. Hans Waultzmann of Germany was second, Jared Fischer of The United States got third.

Two things:

1.) I gain the ratings for people that comment on the thread and stay active in the series, so if you'd like to see your drivers go far i suggest having your drivers make comments after the races.

2.) New qualifying format. The top 20 drivers in the points are locked in the following race. No waiting period, this starts now. So here are the drivers that are locked in to TheRacingExperts 200 at Daytona:

#7 Boers, #108 Waultzmann, #19 J. Fischer, #30 Kyparczyk, #12 Cortes, #31 Hackett, #119 Speed, #88 Visscov, #0 Romanelli, #20 LaBarbera, #2 Pineda, #4 Doe, #49 Averell, #23 Korberchevski, #86 Markopolous, #43 Smyth, #11 Eagle, #45 Levingworth, #21 Kronenburg, #153 Dalnero
