2012 Indycar SChedule

if the past 3 or so months are any sign, this might be a really bad year.

March 25: Streets of St. Petersburg (1.8-mile street course)
April 1: Barber Motorsports Park (2.3-mile road course)
April 15: Streets of Long Beach (1.968-mile street course)
April 29: Streets of Sao Paulo (2.536-mile street course)
May 27: Indianapolis Motor Speedway (2.5-mile oval)
June 3: Raceway at Belle Isle Park (2.1-mile street course)
June 9: Texas Motor Speedway (1.5-mile oval)
June 23: Iowa Speedway (.875-mile oval)
July 8: Streets of Toronto (1.755-mile street course)
July 22: Edmonton City Centre Airport (1.973-mile airport course)
Aug. 5: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (2.258-mile road course)
Aug. 19: Streets of Qingdao, China (3.87-mile street course)
Aug. 26: Infineon Raceway (2.303-mile road course)
Sept. 2: Streets of Baltimore (2-mile street course)
Sept. 15: Auto Club Speedway (2-mile oval)

Auto Club and Texas are the two I dislike, I like it though.

4 ovals... and the IRL was built as a Oval only series when it started

this, though a few road courses couldn't hurt, but have most of the schedule full of road courses?

2012 Champion: Will Power

Simona wins the Andretti trophy, not Power. The new chassis helps her, and the lighter Lotus engine will give her an advantage on the twisties. (That is, if the IRL doesn't mess with the Lotus engine to meet Chip and Roger's qq'ing).

Blame Nascar for QQing over Indycar putting up much better races at ovals then them, one of the main reasons why most of the ovals are gone.

I beginning to think that Wheldons crash was freak. I am actually kind of glad Texas and Fontana are still on the schedule.

indy will probably be the only oval in 2013.

That is SO far from the truth.... Iowa will be back, I heard RB is willing to rent out Milwaukee instead of Vegas, Fontana, and I heard Homestead might come back because it did not produce the huge pack racing that Vegas and Chicagoland did.

There are two races possibly being adding, One right is in the process of being confirmed while the other is a possiblity.
