[VSCC] #715 STS Arrow

For Rovenami. He asked for a green and red scheme with white numbers, but I couldn't decide on whether to make the green or red the dominant color. So I made both.



I used the Oklahoma State athletic font for the numbers, which explains the beveling. I am NOT married to it, however, and can change it if requested. I just wanted to try something different this time.

As always, comments/concerns welcome.

Numbers on the first one need a stroke.

I like the second one better, personally. I agree that the numbers on the first need a stroke, maybe that will make a difference

You know...2 versus 1...100% more...ah, forget it.

I tried doing the stroke on the numbers, but with the beveling it just didn't work. Like I said, I'm open to changing the number style.

I say that green should be the superior color for this car.

Normally I would create a new layer, place it under the number layer, select the number layer(s) (where you see the selection lines going around the numbers) expand selection by 1 or 2 and use fill in the new layer, it acts as a stroke but you don't actually edit the number layer

I personally think the first one is better, but dang, I love the STS looks.

That's not what I meant by "it didn't work". It didn't look right, which is what I meant. No biggie.

@Rovenami - I figured you'd go with the green since that's the one that you have in your av. I sent the flat off to Woody.

I still like the red one better.
