A bunch of contracts got signed.
Reports are a number of drivers and teams have agreed to deals this last week. After all my research here's what I can tell.
IndyCar
Four drivers have apparently got full time rides for next year. Justin Wilson is reportedly returning to Dale Coyne Racing, Takuma Sato will drive for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Paul Tracy is expected to return to a full time schedule with Michael Shank's team, MSR Indy, and Pippa Mann has reported that she in deep talks with an owner.
NASCAR
Some big things are happening in the Truck Series next year. According to Speed's Ray Dunlap, a couple of deals have been signed. Ross Chastain, known for his watermelon sponsored truck, will run for SS Green Light Racing this year in the renumbered #08 Truck. Mike Skinner has a sponsor "97% signed" for next year, Todd Bodine will run a #11 Truck for Red Horse Racing if they can get sponsorship, and reports are that Jeb Burton, son of 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton, has a ride for a few races at least in Trucks next year, with a debut in Daytona with his father also in the race. Finally, Dunlap reports that Jason White will start his own Truck Series team, and run for an unknown amount of races.

Few more update to announce. It has been confirmed that Todd Bodine will drive the #11 truck for Red Horse Racing for at least Daytona. Also been reported that David Starr will announce his 2012 plans this week. Meanwhile, in Cup, Phil Parsons tweeted more information about his car. The car will be driven by Michael McDowell, will run Fords, and will be #98.
