Kai Richardson announces plan to make history in 2017
Gallup, New Mexico born and Uranium Capital Speedway experienced Kai Richardson, 27, announced his plan today to run a car in the Larry Lemon Super Series. This announcement was not entirely commonplace, however, as with his family heritage in the Zuni tribe, he hopes to become the first Native American born driver to run a major racing series. His team, the self-owned Reservation Racing, will field the #70 car sponsored by ImMobile, a mobile home company offering support to the family tribe. "I am very prepared and I hope capable of running and doing well in this series," said Richardson, "but mostly, as my ancestors would say, "datdanne yadokka yadonne: It is time!"
Note: Driver was born September 10th, 1989

Re: 2017 FARC Super Series & Truck Series Silly Season + Team Charts
Master Sport Racing sticks it's boot into more of FARC for 2017?
After the recent name change, MSR (Master Sport Racing) has received word about the possibility to expand to more groups. FARC Truck Series and Larry Lemon series being big names.
Alexa Lake, owner of the newly formed MSP (Master Sport Pro) team, stated that she'd bring several drivers to both championships. A couple names stirred about included Mark, Dan, and Chad Langer, Melissa, Rachel, and Jennifer Plourde, Jack Hallec, the entire Pacht crew, and quite a few more about this. The Langer and Plourde crew stated that they would both be up for it.
What does this mean for others? Less likely to get a spot. That's what.

Arias to Return to FARC Super Series in 2017
After an abysmal rookie season in the FARC Lowe Dollar Series, the Ike Durbin, Inc. driver of Geo Arias has been announced to return to the FARC Super Series for another run at the championship. Arias, the 2015 Super Series champion, looked to make a bid for the 2016 FARC Lowe Dollar Series championship. But after failing to qualify for the season opener at Daytona, his season has been a struggle, and looks to gain a confidence boost and possibly another championship in 2017 while also running in select events in the FARC Lowe Dollar Series.
It's currently unknown what the full lineup of the 86 in the Lowe Dollar Series will be with Arias returning to the Super Series, however reports are that Vincenzo Fochesato will pilot the 86 in select events as well.

Focus Autosports Returning to FARC Truck Series in 2017
Part-time Lowe Dollar Series operation Focus Autosports will return next year to the division where it first competed for a FARC championship.
The Grand Rapids, Michigan-based operation entered the FARC scene with a successful attempt at qualifying for ARLA's Mini Indy 500 in 2012 with driver Vincenzo Fochesato, and the following year entered a Lycoia numbered 37 in the Truck Series division for the full season. After two seasons of competition in 2013 and 2014, the team re-purposed its development resources towards the new FARC Super Series.
After one underwhelming and expensive season plagued by crashes, the Super Series team was discontinued. FAS ran only its part-time FLDS program in 2016, but Joseph Pittigrove announced that it will once again be competing in the Truck Series beginning next year.
Rather than the original truck #37, the team will be bringing back the #4 to run the full schedule. The #4 entry has made nine combined starts over two seasons and nearly won on multiple occasions in 2014 with Luc Pellerin behind the wheel.
Coming on board to pilot the truck will be Eddie Vero of Forest Park, Illinois. Vero, who will be turning 32 in 2017, has been an employee of the successful M&J Racing team for many years, currently serving as a crew chief. In 2014, M&J helped Vero to enter an AST pickup truck team with himself as the driver for a pair of races, in which he performed very well. Aside from those two events, the only experience that he is known to have behind the wheel of a race car comes from lemons racing (if one considers that to be a category of race car).
Sponsorship for the truck has yet to be determined, although it is expected that Spinner Rotors will serve as an associate sponsor.
Whereas Giuseppe Fochesato is the listed owner of the FAS car #38 in the Lowe Dollar Series, Pittigrove will be the listed owner of truck #4.

McGreely proud to have Peterson aboard
Harold McGreely's new FARC Truck team is coming along quite nicely. The Tennessean announced Troy Peterson will join the team as one of its drivers. Troy is a good driver, we think he can do well and help get our team off the ground. Troy did well in what little equipment he had last year and we hope he can help us out with this team.
No word on sponsorship, but Binco will be on the truck in some capacity.

New Team in the coming?
With the permission of Master Sport Racing, 33-yr-old David Lee Hepburn, of Ontario, Canada, partnered with his long-time best friend and co-owner 32-yr-old Henry Laverna will run their own small team under MSR's name, only, MSR-HL (standing for their last names). Each driver will run in the truck series.
Wes Maret's efforts for Larry Lemon Super Series?
Wes Maret, after his hopeful run in 2017 came to an end, he came up with his back-up plan of joining the LLSS. Maret, who is 54, would definitely be happy if this projection would actually become something. Tulsa, Oklahoma is where Wes if from.

Voltson Super Trucks Veteran to Attempt Partial FARC Trucks Schedule
Bloomington, Indiana native Michael McKinley has experienced decent success since the start of the AST Voltson Super Trucks. Through the 2015 season, McKinley held the honor of being the winningest driver in the series, and though he has yet to win a championship, McKinley will set out to expand his team into the FARC Trucks Series on a partial schedule. Though he had initially hoped to make his FARC Trucks debut in 2016, sponsorship negotiations fell through and he was forced to back out of his attempt.
McKinley plans to carry his traditional #99m on the truck, and will have sponsorship from Voltson Batteries and Coletta, reportedly.
(If approved, Class A driver and team)

Jackson Chandler to field a truck in 2017
Short tracker Jackson Chandler is looking to field a single truck operation in the FARC Truck Series, possibly fielding the 22 truck. The operation isn't well funded but Chandler hopes to exceed expectations. (OOC: Class C if approved)

Write some silly season like all of us have done! Team and driver name are always important. Once you get accepted, you'll need to write up some details about your driver. Car model, sponsors, age, number ect.
If you don't get accepted, don't worry! There's plenty of series here you can enjoy being in!

Think the press release type posts near the top of the page. Also, we like to keep these in universe. So just make a little story-type thing that could be an actual press release and you will have as good of a chance as you will for your entries to be accepted.

Rich Roy is a not so famous racer. However in a interview he said "I want to see how well Roy INC. does in FARC. I bet I am going to be like Andy Pearson." Roy is known for causing the whole field the wreck. That show he got his only win. But the 20 year old is still looking to make history. However, just face it. He is going to the next AJ Young.

JWD Racing joins the Trucks!
Jon Dilks, of TM Master Cup fame, has decided to go into the Team owning business. With his own brand, Alfred has signed an Upstate NY driver in the name of Alfred Jones. Jones comes way of the Local Short Track scene in New York, and coming to the Trucks seems to be his next step in his career.
Jones will pilot the #27 Jonny's Auto Sale truck. He hails out of Buffalo, NY. He was born in 1998, on May 1st. He's a bright young man looking to make his way up the ladder and into Stock cars. "We're proud of him and hope he does his best" Dilks said of Jones, as the Truck being unveiled, "I saw him racing one night at a small track, while up in New York for a Grand Prix, and I thought this kid had talent. So I signed him on and here he is." HE said, as Jones beamed with confidence. "I appreciate the opportunity for this to happen! I hope we win in our first season. Though I'm sure the team has smaller goals." He said, as Dilks did say they were looking for a good showing.
