Ruiz scores first top 5, still fuming

Whatever kool-aid that Ruiz drank must have worked out as he finished 3rd in this strange race. However, on the way back, Ruiz went on a tangent on youtube, saying quote "They tried to cheat and try to murder us. That is just wrong and disgusting." When he heard that the race will stand but any mentions of that place will be wiped, he didn't care. Ruiz will go on a 2 race break to cool down his car and his temper. If he uses this top 5 finish effectively, we might see polito's stay on board for next season.

RFR Post Night Vale PT.2
Well, Rick Forest has recovered a lot faster than anybody was expecting, and has been medically cleared to jump back in the car at the end of the week. Rick Forest WILL attempt the rest of the schedule, but Dominic Forest will stay on standby should he fall ill again. Rick Forest stated that after the incident at Night Vale, he does not want to risk himself any further, and also plans to never return to Night Vale ever again. The question now is, can Rick Forest recover his lead in the points? Also, A second RFR car has been in talks for quite some time now, and Dominic Forest has been rumored to be the driver, sponsorship pending.

Trueman Ellison yet to be located

#03 Genuine Stolen Parts Inglesby driver Trueman Ellison, has disappeared prior to the "Visitable" Night Vale 100, the last mention of his was when he came into a Night Vale flower shop, looking to buy a dozen red roses, apparently he was the favorite client of the clerk.

We'll bring more information when our interns take their heads off their asses when possible

Alexa Lake has been found
Shortly after the race began, it was clear to Lake that there was something awry with her car. It was slow off start, and dropped from fourth to seventh in just two laps. After which, her CM Nova seemed to reignite and start soaring, only to give up its engine not a lap later from the 'revival.'

Dismayed from her car blowing out on her first race back since Waalwer was kicked out, and the #53 was dropped, she drove to the pits. Only to be kidnapped by enraged mysterious race control officials because they were angry at their faces being engulfed in engine smoke.

For the entirety of the race, Alexa Lake was nowhere to be found, and even was not yet seen for hours afterward. Shortly after 6PM, American security guards managed to pin-point where the 'trapped' Alexa Lake was and rescued her.

That being said, Alexa Lake finished last in a very unfortunate showing.

Lake shares about her experience of her 'kidnapping.'
Shortly after being found, the visibly frail and quite bruised, Lake was comforted by her boyfriend Derrike, and then both were bombarded by reporters, and even some shady folks wearing nightshade black hoodies.

"They took me out of my car, and whisked me away to a drab room, dark and dreary. They surprisingly just wanted to chat with me. They asked many odd things about FARC and my personal life. To which if I hadn't answered in their taunting fifteen second ratio, they would punch me in different places until I told them. I got punched repeatedly if I refused to answer, and got kicked several times even if I did answer. -
I-they....uh.."

Alexa Lake rushed to nearby hospital not in Nightvale
Reporters and Chaiter were quick to fly Alexa Lake to a nearby town Raepville Heights where it was discovered she had received a minor concussion after being punched repeatedly. Doctors stated that she had some underlying issues before that instance, such as a headache, and a fever.
They also mentioned that she had received a bad case of throat spiders which got to the point of fever, and an eventual pass out, coupled with the many bruises she had received by the mysterious townsfolk of Nightvale.

Doctors mentioned giving her anti-biotics for her throat spiders condition, and a cast for her very very bruised left arm. The doctors, who are longtime fans of FARC said that she would likely be cleared by medical staff in the next week, for Elko, or thereafter.

She may or may not be able to participate in the next race, however. That is to be further discussed at the appropriate time. Alexa Lake would have preferred to finish better, but she will leave Nightvale vowing to never return with a last place finish and only one point more for her now championship bid.

DHRE makes it out of Night Vale (Somehow)

After a prophetic tweet that foretold of the 6 car DNQing the DHRE team made sure to obey the next tweet that told of Todd Stater's car exploding on land mines. The managed to reinforce the bottom of the car so that when the car exploded it it would not hurt Slater. Another tweet told them to leave it there made the choice to leave the car there easy for the team. In doing so the team somehow managed to miss not only the creepy hooded figures but also the body snatching.

sadly this also means DHRE likes to talk about the race. Which no one else in the garage cares too.
