2017 Austrian GP
The European tour continues as F1 returns to the Red Bull/A1/Osterreichring in Austria. This race definitely has a lot to live up to considering how Baku went. Anyways, lets get to some headlines.
Red Bull Steals 1
The Baku GP saw several errors by the frontrunners that caused chaos in the midfield teams to claim as many points as possible. The man who did the best in all of the chaos was Red Bull's Daniel Riccardo. After seeing everyone in front of him falter, Daniel took full advantage of the mistakes and capitalized by taking the checkered flag. With this win, Red Bull became the 3rd different constructor to win a race in 2017.
Das Wunderkid Lance Stroll
While Daniel Riccardo may have gotten to the checkered flag first, he was not the man people were talking about. The driver that people were talking about was Lance Stroll. Now I will admit, I thought Stroll was there only for his money but he proved me wrong in Baku. Another driver that benefited from the frontrunners errors, Lance Stroll climbed up to 2nd before falling to 3rd when Valterri Bottas caught up and passed him at the line. This was Williams first podium since Valterri Bottas finished 3rd in Canada in 2016.
We All Get Points
The top 10 in Baku was highlighted by the fact that there were 9 different constructors that finished in the top 10. The only team that didn't finish in the top 10 was Renault. With this top 10, it gave us the 2nd year in a row where every constructor scored points in the season, it just took 12 less races than last year. McLaren was the last team to score points as Fernando Alonso finished P9.
Sergio vs. Esteban Round 2
For the 2nd race in a row, the Force India teammates were at each other's throats. While there was no contact in Canada, it was a completely different story in Baku. While Ocon claimed earlier in the week that everything was fine, the Force India teammates collided with eachother taking Sergio out of the race and collecting Kimi Raikkonnen in the process. This is starting to get a little nerve racking that these 2 are doing this. Let's hope they figure this out soon before it goes way too over the line.

Re: 2017 Austrian GP
Time for the Austrian GP questionnaire. There are 4 questions about this race. Here we go...
1. Niki Lauda is the only Austrian to win the Austrian GP. What year did he take his lone victory at home?
2. Which constructor holds the most wins in Austria?
3. True or False, the Red Bull Ring is the highest track above sea level.
4. Between 1983 and 1986, who won 3 out of the 4 races in Austria?

1, 2, and 4 are correct. 3 is false, the Red Bull Ring is the 2nd highest above sea level behind Mexico.

If Kyvat's goal is to make himself look more of a fool than Palmer could ever hope to be, then if you ask me, mission accomplished.
