Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Round 11 - Mexico:
- De Vries Wins in Mexico; Babić, Fochesato to Race for the Title in Abu Dhabi
18 November 2017
An eventful race in Mexico City has set the stage for the championship battle in Formula B.
The eleventh race of the 2017 season, held at the Autódromo Ciudad de México, was won by Kevin de Vries for the KWGP team after a dominant drive by the Dutchman from the pole position. It was the second victory of the season for de Vries, and the fourth for KWGP, which now holds a 20-point lead in the constructors' standings over FIAM Junior Team.
FIAM's Vincenzo Fochesato, after receiving a grid penalty for initiating an incredibly avoidable accident at Suzuka Circuit that wrecked the cars of both himself and Rika Nomura, was the runner-up after starting from 14th on the grid. MacQuarrie's Mattieu Strouf scored his second consecutive podium finish with a third-place result after starting the race from fourth.
While de Vries' achieved a flawless performance, however, his teammate Anna Babić would unfortunately make contact with Deadman racer Shinsuke Tanahashi on lap 3, resulting in a crash that eliminated them both from the event.
Babić began the race with a 13-point lead over Fochesato in the driver's standings, but the Italian now has a 5-point advantage over the Bosnian heading into the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
With Neucom, Inc.'s Rena Hirose, ranked third, 33 points out of the lead, Fochesato and Babić will be the only two contenders for the title when the lights go out at Yas Marina.
Both drivers, each of age 25, are contesting their first seasons in the premier development series to Formula A. Babić has previously competed in numerous Eastern European open-wheel championships, finding success at every stage of the development ladder and even finishing runner-up in last year's edition of the Formula C championship. She has scored two victories this season, the first in Bahrain, during the series' most recent visit to the Middle East, and the second in Japan only three weeks ago.
Fochesato, on the other hand, made his open-wheel racing debut in the season-opener at Shanghai International Circuit in April. The Italian-born American has been competing for FIAM Engineering for the past five years, but primarily so in stock cars as opposed to open-wheelers. In spite of his lack of experience, however, he managed to capitalize on attrition to win the race in Belgium made chaotic by rainy weather.
No deals have been signed regarding either driver for the 2018 season at this point, although it is expected that Fochesato will return with FIAM Junior Team along with his teammate Giancarlo Corelli.
Including both Babić and Fochesato, twenty-two drivers representing eleven teams will be racing to score one final victory in 2017 in the 41-lap showdown at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Formula B at Abu Dhabi:
Mullens Finishes 2017 FB Season with 1 More Point
The long and tumultuous 2017 Formula B season came to an end at Abu Dhabi and for South Africa's Jay Mullens, he finished on a high note picking up a 10th point performance gaining 1 more point for his campaign and for F.A.R. This 10th place performance was Jay's 3rd points scoring performance and first since Monaco.
"2017 was full of high and lows" Mullens started. "But overall, this went way better than I expected. I thought we (F.A.R.) were not going to score any points at all but we were able to get a podium with Zachary and I had 3 points scoring finishes this year."
Mullens did exactly what he did in Spain, take a low qualifying spot, keep the car clean, and avoid the trouble to take a great finishing position.
"Sometimes, when you are in a car that is not a race winner, you just have to be patient and focus on bringing the best finish you can get" Mullens added.
To say Mullens had a quiet 2017 season is an understatement. A fantastic 5th place run in Monaco was overshadowed by his incident with Vincenzo Fochesato in Canada while Fochesato was leading.
"Personally, I am glad that Fochesato had his stupidity in Japan so everyone at the FIAM camp doesn't have to blame me for Vinnie losing the title" Mullens said. "He didn't deserve the title and I am glad that Babic won the title over Vinnie."
"Anyways, I hope 2018 will be an improvement speed wise for the team and who knows, we might be a point contending car every race next season."

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Abu Dhabi:
- I: Adrian, a solid points run gone down the drain as a result of an engine failure. You must be dissatisfied with how well your team has been doing lately that you were unable to muster up more solid results today.
L: Yes. That was not a great result as we would have liked. I hate that the engine did not stay as a whole as we were running very well. It's also good to see that [Jay] Mullins is believing that he is some angel. There was not a reason to defend yourself when the Japan crash was not your fault. The only damn reason you finished in the Top 10 and got any points during the season was stupid luck. It is not the fault of your fellow drivers that your driving is garbage and you needlessly take your frustrating race performances out on the rest of us, just remember Montreal to prove your immaturity. I will not sit here and be angry at [Walter] Stanton today as if he is why I am so far down in the points. I realize that there are faults I have made and should be willing to take the price for them. He needs to open his eyes and learn for once.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Round 12 - Abu Dhabi:
- Fochesato: I'm Really Happy for Anna
25 November 2017
After claiming a fifth-place finish in the season-ending Formula B Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Vincenzo Fochesato offered congratulations to Anna Babić, the 2017 drivers' champion.
"I'm really happy for Anna, she's proved all year that she's the best driver in Formula B, so it's only fitting that she earned the championship. Congratulations to her and to the entire KWGP team! They were amazing competitors all season, and when it came down to the wire they simply outdid us. I really don't have any disappointments about losing the title because I gave it everything that I had tonight and was bested, anyway. So again, hats off to all of them!"
After starting from the outside of Babić, who earned the pole position for the race, the two title contenders battled it out for the lead during the opening stages, but both fell behind as the race went on. Fochesato would be the fifth driver to finish the race, but with a runner-up result, Babić successfully overcame her five-point deficit to win the drivers' championship by a mere three points over Fochesato.
"I had hope right up through the finish, but considering how unfamiliar that I was with these cars and this type of racing when the year began, it's a miracle, honestly, that we actually accomplished what we did. I've said it all year, but the success that I've had is because of this team's fine efforts back in Como and all around the world; I couldn't be more proud to be a part of this organization."
The Italian rookie, who was entirely new to open-wheel racing when the season began in Shanghai, came up short of the championship, but still had a largely successful debut season, achieving a race victory at Spa-Francorchamps as well as three pole positions over the course of twelve races.
"I learned a lot this year, needless to say; a lot more than I realized that I would, actually. There's so much more to these feeder series than I could have imagined. It's really fascinating, but above all else, it's a blast to drive! I'm excited as can be to return next year and hopefully put everything that I've learned to good use!"
While unconfirmed, it is expected that Fochesato and his teammate Giancarlo Corelli will both return to pilot the FIAM Junior Team cars in 2018.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Round 12 - Abu Dhabi:
- Master Sport Australia ends season in shambles
The ending race for the championship saw Jackson Harrows with no hope to win the championship, but nonetheless, he qualified in ninth. Lee Owen Merreweather had a good qualifying result; much like his last few. Top 5, or lower. Though qualifying consistency has been relatively good for Merreweather, it hasn't been so nice to Harrows, who would qualify second for one race, or qualify outside the top ten.
Merreweather has had a mediocre season to say best. He came in to Abu Dhabi with the full intent to run away with it and finish his season off well. Fifth place qualifying did not help his case so much, but it was workable.(LARGE EDIT coming later)

Fortner Motorsports names drivers for 2018 Formula B season
Fortner makes a foray into Formula B for 2018. The team has had a rocky past before in other motorsport disciplines from shaky management to poor morale. Fortner understood that these factors cannot play into this Formula B program.
The team announced its new team manager, Buck Fortner to head up the operations. Chief mechanic Tom Lawson will head the crew for the 28 team and Jason Spatz will head the crew of the 29 car.
Salt Lake City native Treyson McBeel was named to drive the 28 car while teammate Mason Haugen of Portland, Oregon will take the wheel of the 29. He is a former AARO Logitech National Touring modified champion who drove for Fortner in 2012 before driving in Formula USA from 2014 to 2017.
Haugen is a graduate of the Formula Fortner development program with three years under the belt. He was F-Fortner's Rookie of the Year in 2014 and locked the title in 2017.
Fortner Financial Services will sponsor both cars for 2018.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Master Sport Australia @ Bahrain:
- Jackon Harrows and Lee Owen Merreweather, the surprise breakout team from last season who fought for a championship title, return for their second season in Formula B. Jackson Harrows, who, in the off season had another child on the way, is looking to start his season off strong at Bahrain. The 26 year old has three children and his loving wife and unborn there to see him off.
Jackson Harrows started his year off swell with a second place qualifying result - "....my fans and my lovely wife, that is for you. Wish me luck so I may do you proud." During his race, however, Harrows made note that his car had a constant rattle and the car seemed to be very tight. Despite a few incidents and fear of mechanical whoas, the third pitstop saw the fix to the rattle issue and Harrows dealt with the tightness. He went on to finish fifth, from dropping as far down as tenth.
"I am not super stoked with my finish here, but I am happy with my result nonetheless. Sure, I started second, and sure, I had a couple incidents, but with the help of my team and crew, we brought this Pirtek car home to a fifth place, and I am grateful for that. It feels miraculous to be on top again with my good bud Merreweather in the constructors standings. It has been awhile since then. I am hopeful for this season that Merreweather and I will have great seasons and all for efforts towards that championship title."
Lee Owen Merreweather, who started eighth in the inaugural race at Bahrain, turned 47 just a few short days ago. Merreweather, who denied "being that old" told reporters that, "I am not that old, and I can show these younger folk a thing or two about racing." then letting out a big, geeky smile, he said "If I can catch them, that is."
The question arose late in the off-season on whether or not Lee would retire after this season, to which he would promptly say, "No, I have no plans on leaving this sport. I love it far too much to quit now. I have had 25 years of experience, yes, but who says I cannot have 25 more? As long as I can still run well, and still have good health, and be recruited by a team, I will continue racing."
Lee Owen Merreweather, who did not have the best of years in his inaugural Formula B season, which was plagued with mechanical failures and a couple incidents of and not of his own doing. He set a quick lap and would qualify eighth. He also, come green flag noted of his car being rather tight and difficult to control. He as well, had some "bumps" like Harrows, but neither Harrows or Merreweather had race ending, penalty enducing bumps. One pitstop saw Merreweather's car affixed from its tightness. Merreweather then went on to set quick laps and make a final corner, last lap pass for second place, solidifying that Master Sport Australia, and Merreweather himself is still a threat.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Race Report:
- It was moderately raining here at Barcelona as Rena Hirose leads the field into Turn 1 with Vander Cleef getting a rocket start to challenge Hirose, further in the back Jay Mullens stalls his engine, but his crew gets the car back up and running. Vander Cleef was unable to pounce on Hirose and T.K. Wollf overtakes him for P2 exiting Turn 3. On Lap 2, Wollf overtakes Hirose before entering the Repsol Turn. Towards the end of Lap 2, Hungary's MAttieu Strouf and Australia's Joel Melrose get together exiting Turn 12 and carry eachother into the wall, taking both cars out of the race and brought out the local yellow. On Lap 4, Strouf's teammate Sergei Popov collided with Scott Roush which damaged Popov's wheels and had to retire.
Shortly afterwards, Alexander Kryukov's SAAR engine blows up on him just past pit entry. A timing and scoring glitch put Mullens in the lead with T.K. Wollf and Jackson Harrows persuing him. On Lap 6, The Neucom of Rena Hirose breaks down and gets clipped by Lee Owen Merrewheather; Hirose retires and Merrewheather pits for repairs. On Lap 7, Raymond Hawkins gets together with Arthur Dilbeck exiting Turn 3 as Dilbeck retires and the safety car was deployed.
When the race resumed, first round of pit stops occurred, during the cycle Yoshiko Sakamoto leaves the pits in front of Kyoko Miyama, Miyama hookes the Harachi in Turn 3 taking Sakamoto into the barriers, the stewards issued a 30 second penlty to Miyama. Meanwhile, T.K. Wollf leads the field as Jay Mullens has a lengthy pit stop putting him way down the order. Kevin de Vries is gaining on T.K. Wollf. On Lap 18, The TMG of Adrian Leureaux and the Dukur-Irbes of Sean Angel collide in the final corner; Angel kept running while Leureaux dropped out. At the end of Lap 20, karma struck Miyama as her Nemoto gives up on her on the front stretch. MEanwhile, Akio Matsumura takes over the lead with de Vries and Wollf trailing.
The second round of pit stops occur and Vincenzo Fochesato turns Charles Vander Cleef exiting Turn 3 taking Vander Cleef out and Fochesato gets handed a 15 second penalty. ON the other end of the track, Matsumura gets held up by Mullens and nearly take eachother out, Mullens was parked and his team were called to the hauler for this. On Lap 32, Sanae Akiyama's right front wheel breaks off in La Caixa, sending her into the barriers. Meanwhile, Kevin de Vries takes the lead as Matsumura pits to repair damage from the Mullens incident. With 5 laps to go, Toms Leipa overdrives TV3 and spins into the graveltraps taking him out. Kevin de Vries would end up winning the Formula B Spanish Grand Prix.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
Fitzwater Australia Racing banned from competition for actions detrimental to auto racing
Shortly after the conclusion of the Spanish Grand Prix, Formula B officials discovered that the team had tampered with the timing and scoring system to give one of their drivers an on-track advantage. Despite being the beneficiary of the ordeal, Jay Mullens reportedly was unaware of the ordeal. It was also unveiled that Zachary Fitzwater Jr. was none other than the team owner Zachary Fitzwater Sr. who only used one of his crew members to pose as Fitzwater Jr. on the track when "Sr. and Jr." were in the same room.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- Race Report:
- The race begins as the lights turn green, Fochesato pulls out to a comfortable lead over Lee Owen Merrewheather and T.K. Wollf in which remained that way until first round of pit stops at Lap 16. However, during the first round of stops, Mattieu Strouf and Jackson Harrows get together at Turns 15 and 16 as Strouf goes hard into the tyre walls, taking him out. On Lap 18, Yoshiko Sakamoto's gearbox breaks down forcing Sakamoto to retire. Not one lap later, his Harachi teammate has his engine blow up; double disaster for Harachi. At the end of the first round, Fochesato resumes leading over Wollf and Hirose, Merrewheather had a terrible stop.
On Lap 20, Kyoko Miyama reported a vibration in her car which proved to be terminal as she would drop out of the race. Very little happened until Lap 32 in which Fochesato caught up to the struggling Kevin de Vries, bringing Wollf, Hirose and Corelli to challenge Fochesato. Second round of pitstop immediately began as all 5 drivers came in the pitlane. Disastrous pit stop for Fochesato as his mechanics did not have tyres ready for him in time; he would cycle out in P4 stuck behind lap traffic of de Vries. Sean angel running P20 pulls off at Mirabeau Haute with suspension issues. Toms Leipa turns Jay Pericles into the pit wall, taking both drivers out. They were running P7 and P8 respectively and the safety car was deployed.
Rena Hirose led Corelli and Wollf up until the final round of pitstops as Corelli jumped Hirose in the pit cycle. More disaster for Fochesato as he is caught speeding on pit land and has to serve a drive through, relegating him down to P7. On Lap 51, Corelli gets held up by Charles Vander Cleef, but Hirose herself is held up by Harrows and Roush. Corelli gets by Vander Cleef and went unopposed for the rest of the race, taking his second victory of the season.

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
- French GP Race Report:
- The green lights go on as Rena Hirose rockets ahead of T.K. Wollf entering Turn 1, but coming through the esse, we had cars driving off into the tyre barriers including Lee Owen Merrewheather, Mattieu Stouf and the two current championship contenders Kevin de Vries and Giancarlo Corelli. A little bit futher up, T.K. Wollf ran wide and clipped Charles Vander Cleef sending them both in a spin, both would keep doing with minimal damage. The officials had immediately initiated the safety car for this incident.
The race resumed on Lap 3 as Jackson Harrows challenges Joel Melrose for P2 and would get it by Lap 5. Meanwhile, Arthur Dilbeck suffers from a hydraulics issue and on Lap 6, T.K. Wollf gets turned into the Carousel wall by Scott Roush, both would retire. Entering Lap 8, Sean Angel heads into the pits from P5 as well as Sergei Popov from P19. First round of pit stops started a lap later as most of the field came in with the rest coming in the next lap. The top 3 remained unchanged after the first round of pitstops.
On Lap 11, Rena Hirose gets into the back of the lap car of Scott Roush and puts him into the wall. On Lap 13, Vincenzo Fochesato suffers a puncture from P15 and has to go into the pits. Toms Leipa gets pushed into the tyre barriers at the Esses, taking him out of the race. On lap 16, Walter Stanton gets stuffed in the tyre wall from P8. Second round of pit stops started on Lap 17 when Joel Melrose pits from P2. Vincenzo Fochesato blows his gearbox on Lap 20. When everything cycled out, Sean Angel took P3 from Jackson Harrows, but Rena Hirose's lead had shrunk to 1.75 seconds. But on Lap 22, ran wide in the Carousel and spun right into the wall, the rear tyres were heavily damaged forcing her to retire. Tough break for Hirose who had dominated the race up to this point.
Lap 25 began the third round of pit stops, but Raymond Hawking and Akio Matsumura stayed out until Lap 29. On Lap 30, it was Melrose, Harrows and Angel on the podium. Joel Melrose had to pit from the lead on Lap 31. Sanae Akiyama inherited the lead but she runs out of fuel entering the final corners on Lap 33. Raymond Hawkins and Akio Matsumura stayed out. On the final lap, Matsumura has a run on Hawkins entering the finals corners, but it's not enough as Raymond Hawkins holds him off to win the Formula B French GP with brilliant pit strategy by both him and Matsumura

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
MacQuarrie has new driver lineup for 2019 season, will use FIAM engines
After the less than stellar performances of both Mattieu Strouf and Sergei Popov, both will be released from their rides at season's end. They have announced their new drivers to the team as Frenchman Adrian Leureaux will be the team's lead driver. Leureaux previously drove for Hanmore in 2017 with a podium to his name and drove in 2018 with the ill-fated TMG camp. The South African driver Jay Mullens was also signed on as the team's second driver; Mullens previously drove for the banned-Fitzwater Australia Racing with a best finish of 5th at Monaco 2017. The team had also revealed that they signed a deal to run FIAM engines for the 2019 and 2020 season.

Mullens: "Chance of a Lifetime"
To say that South African driver Jay Mullens is controversial could be one of the biggest understatements ever stated. After a 2018 that ended before it even got started, Mullens was given a 2nd chance in Formula B by signing with MacQuarrie.
"This is a chance of a lifetime" Mullens said. "I have had some time to let the events of 2017 and 18 sink in and I think I need to change my outlook on not only my career but my life. I believe that I was a jerk to many people and I am regretting some of the things I said and did in my past and I want to make a mends with some people. MacQuarrie is giving me the opportunity to do that and I hope I can change the public image of Jay Mullens."
Mullens enters the MacQuarrie team alongside France's Adrian Leureaux who is also coming off a miserable 2018.
"He (Leureaux) and I are on the same level in terms of what happened in 2018" Mullens said. "I feel that for not only me but for Adrian that this is a fresh start for both of us. I am looking forward to working with Adrian and have a good season for the both of us."
Mullens enters the 2019 season with a career best finish of 5th and has not raced in a Formula B car since the controversial race in Spain where a scoring glitch moved Mullens from multiple laps down to 1st eventually being changed after the race. Formula B officials discovered the glitch was caused by Fitzwater Australia but did not mention the glitch to Mullens.
"To this day, I feel some guilt over the whole thing even though I did nothing wrong" Mullens said. "I was not notified of the glitch until I climbed out of the car and walked to the paddock where I saw a number of officials by the pit area. In some ways, I thought my career was done for but now, I have another chance to show what I can do and I hope this opportunity gets me to new heights as a driver."

Re: Formula B *2021 Season*
Forsythe to enter Formula B competition
Maximilian Forsythe announced to press following a fairly well attended testing session from Outlon Park his Team Forsythe entry into Formula B for the upcoming 2019 season. The test featured representatives of the Gasnier open-wheel development team, who seem all but confirmed as the team’s engine supplier.
The drivers participating in the test were long-time Forsythe associate Emil Kirkland (who grew up very near to Outlon Park in Winsford). Kirkland most recently competed in stock car racing and was chosen by Forsythe to lead his company’s foray into that realm of motorsport. Previously in his racing career Kirkland has been a Global Touring Car Championship championship-winner and a two-time Touring Car UK champion. As a youngster Kirkland competed in European Junior Formula until aging out when he turned 18 - following this time he was briefly making sporadic appearances in rally car racing when he met Max Forsythe who offered him a spot in his Touring Car UK team.
Kirkland will be returning to his racing roots, being announced as part of the driving lineup for Forsythe in Formula B.
Vladimir Nikolayev, who previously competed in the RROL/VSCC, in addition to having entered the Karjala Grand Prix was announced as Kirkland’s teammate; however, he was not present at the test - with his wife, Katyana, expecting the birth of their second child. Nikolayev has made various appearances in open-wheel racing over the past 3 years following a short break from racing after the collapse of the VSCC. The Russian drove Max Forsythe’s 2018 Indy 500 entry to an 8th-place finish.
Forsythe development driver, Calvin Murray took part in the test with Kirkland on-track and is expected to serve as the team’s reserve driver. The two drove in blank chassis but long-time Forsythe sponsors BP, Umbro, and Barclays have been confirmed to continue their support here in Formula B.
New line-up expected at FIAM Junior Team in 2019
FIAM are looking to refresh their Junior Team line-up in 2019 with Giancarlo Corelli and Vincenzo Fochesato likely to move on to new ventures after two impressively competitive seasons as team-mates.

Kevin de Vries wins Abu Dhabi in dominant fashion
After a season of a missed opportunity of this year's championship, Kevin de Vries ends his season on a high note as he took his third win of the season. Many have speculated that had his engine not give up on him from the lead in Hungary, he would have at least been a title contender.

- Akio Matsumura wins the title in virtue of a tie-breaker

Deadman Motorsport Team USA to "(press) the reset button" on operation
After the US Grand Prix weekend, rumors surfaced that Deadman Motorcycle Co. founder and team owner Marcus Deadman was none too happy with Deadman Motorsport Team USA's performance in the 2018 season and was contemplating a major shift in the way the team was run. When the rumors surfaced Deadman said that he is not making any decisions public until the end of the season. Deadman, a man of his word, has now came out indirectly confirming those rumors. He announced that neither Walter Stanton or Shinsuke Tanahashi will be returning to the team next season. He has said that the drivers will be Australian and the team's 2018 test driver Larry McAllinter and Japaneese multi-discipline driver Naomi Alnako will be the drivers in the black and dark purple for 2019. Deadman said that this will be the "rebirth of the team" and that "even though the team's existence has been shaky, this pressing of the reset button will help us create a team that will succeed for many years to come."

Fochesato Reflects on Sophomore Season, Looks Ahead to 2019
26 November 2018
The 2018 Formula B season concluded with a solid run at Yas Marina Circuit from Vincenzo Fochesato, who worked his way up the running order to achieve a 7th-place finishing position after starting from 16th.
All in all, however, it was a very mixed season for the racer who was runner-up in last year's championship.
Another successful year for FIAM Junior Team saw Fochesato and teammate Giancarlo Corelli score a collective total of four race victories, three more as a team than the year prior. In addition, Corelli narrowly missed out on the driver's championship, ranking third overall but merely two points behind Japanese racer Akio Matsumura of Harachi Racing Technologies, who earned the title as a rookie.
Fochesato's lone victory at Suzuka, however, would be his only podium result of the year, and he could only manage ninth in the driver's standings after failing to score points in seven of the thirteen events. After missing out on last year's title by a narrow margin, himself, it was not what the longtime FIAM racer was hoping for.
Nevertheless, Fochesato was still very optimistic about his team and their performance throughout the year.
"This was another fantastic year for us all, just like last year! But unfortunately there were a few missed opportunities on my part. The competition here is so incredibly close that you cannot be off your game on any given weekend and expect to get a good result, and I'm afraid that I struggled to get the speed out of the car of which it's capable on more than one occasion. I am disappointed in those shortcomings of mine that I had as a driver, but like I said, we always had excellent cars and a great chance to win each and every race. Just look at Giancarlo's results! And for me it all came together in Japan and I'm very happy that I was able to give another victory this year to everyone who worked so hard for it!"
No plans for Fochesato and Corelli have yet been confirmed for next year, but it is expected that FIAM will be bringing in two young prospects in Vitantonio Lorenzi and Jamie Wills to take over their seats in FB. Rumors have suggested that each driver is being considered as a potential candidate for a Lugo Motorsport entry in the TM Master Cup Series Independent's Trophy, and Corelli has also been linked to a possible drive in Formula A.
"FIAM is incredibly dedicated to achieving success in motorsport and it shows with the great results that they earned again this year. I don't know at this point what I'll be racing in 2019, but whether I'm back here in Formula B or elsewhere, I couldn't be happier to be a part of this team, and I'll be ready to take on the challenge!"
