Ruiz scores 2 top 10 in debut race

Timothy Ruiz, a debut driver in this week, qualified in the first race and hadn't look back, raking up

in race 2. Not only that, Ruiz also made several fantastic avoidance to several wrecks, only getting involved in one minor scrape with a few driver. "I did not think I get a top 10 so soon, let alone two" Ruiz said after the races "I was thinking going into the race, I'm going to race my heart out and whatever happens happened."

Ruiz's father, Rex, was in the crew box, watching his youngest son race in his FARC debut and pulling several heart-stoppers in the process. "Each time a wreck happen near my son, I was preparing the worst" Rex said "but he only had a minor scrape by the end of the day"

With Ruiz set to run a 16 race schedule in his official rookie season, it shows that there maybe a win coming soon. However, his older brother, Xavier, is also racing though on a four race schedule, getting sponsorship with Reality Network or RN, driving the number 121 Saar against Timothy Polito's Pizza 112 Lenard. They each will race against each other four times in race 1, 5, 16, and next year's Rockford. "We'll see who'll get the last laugh." Xavier said.
