NASCAR at the Glen
Cup entries: http://www.jayski.com/news/stats/2016/story/_/page/22-Watkins-Glen-2016-Entry-List
Xfinity entries: http://www.jayski.com/news/nxs/2015/story/_/page/20-Watkins-Glen-NXS-2016-Entry-List
K&N East entries: http://hometracks.nascar.com/entrylist/nknps-east-watkins-glen-8516-entry-list
With the rain-drenched Tricky Triangle in the rear-view mirror, it's time to make our second trip to a track where we go left as well as right! (Sonoma was first. Calm down, nitpickers!) How will the newly-repaved Watkins Glen International race?
Cup notes:
* 88 listed as TBA, but expect Jeff Gordon in the car based on previous reporting.
* Couple road ringers in the field, as Boris Said takes over the 32 and Alex Kennedy is in the 55.
Xfinity notes:
* Cuppies galore in the race, with Joey Logano (12), Kyle Busch (18), Brad Keselowski (22), Paul Menard (2), Kyle Larson (42), and Trevor Bayne(!) (60) looking to crash the party.
* Todd Bodine makes a start in the 90.
* Plenty of TBD's, as the 14, 15, and 21 are all listed without drivers.
* Kenny Habul is in the 88 for JRM.
K&N notes:
* Truck-wackers! Austin Cindric and Cole Custer will make starts.
* Some guy named Andretti in the field. (Adam, to be exact.)
* Field's a little small comparatively speaking, but I expect the entries to be updated.

Re: NASCAR at the Glen
Our road course Pay Driver of the Weekᵀᴹ is Nicolas Hammann, a gentleman most known for doing literally what any of us could do right now: racing in the Nissan Gran Turismo Academy (yes, a VIDEO GAME). In the meantime, he's bought had a chance to run various SCCA series, including this season's Mazda Miata Cup.
Naturally, he's already flown into the tires today.

Re: NASCAR at the Glen
I'd like to see Larson get his back on Allmendinger after that. That's was a bullshit move for a position AJ didn't even need. Downright dangerous.
Alright race today, really wrecky but fun overall.

Allmendinger sucks, so it's not surprising he'd pull that. People wonder why he's on JTG?

Being a bad driver and being an asshole are not one and the same thing. See: Kevin Harvick.

Re: NASCAR at the Glen
Last lap stuff was going hard for the win, Dinger's thing...I understand why he didn't back off but at the same time it killed Larson's finish.
Alright race, end turned into quite the smashgest though.

Re: NASCAR at the Glen
Today was the first time in his entire Sprint Cup career that Jimmie Johnson finished dead last. Kevin Harvick is still yet to do the same.
