Cleveland fans can rejoice

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the 73-9 Golden State Warriors after being down 3-1 in the NBA Finals to get the city's first major pro sports championship in 52 years. LeBron James was the Finals MVP.

I think it's safe to say that LeBron's legacy as a Cleveland sports legend has been secured. Well done, LeBron. You've made Ohio sports fans proud today.

Not only that, but the Lake Erie Monsters won the AHL championship just last week, so Cleveland will be celebrating two championships. What a way to end a title drought, eh?

In addition, no team had ever come back from 3-1 to win the NBA Finals. Unreal.

That was unbelievable. It's been so long and I can't believe its actually happening. All you could hear after the game was fireworks and people yelling... it was magical.

Got to give credit where credit is due. 1st major sports title in 52 years, and what a way to break it as well. I think the Cavs took a page from the Red Sox. If you're going to win it all why not do it that way?

I honestly though GS had it in the bag. I really did. But, you know how it goes sometimes. One team wins the trophy, the other ends up with bruised egos. What a run for LeBron! He's definitely feeling the afterglow of a burden lifted off his shoulders.
